The costuming was fine I just thought it was really weird how they would walk around the house in socks. But honestly this show was just not interesting.

Gotta say this is probably the funniest drama that I've ever watched. The story is fast and there's not many boring scenes for me to skip around except whenever they are in the office talking about work. There's lots of interesting scenes and when you think it can't get any funnier, it does. When the characters are dealing with situations that are terrible, it gets more terrible. The acting and cast was quite literally awesome, couldn't have asked for a better cast. Li Landi and Tan Jianci did a phenomenal job playing their parts, I've seen some of their other roles and glad that they aren't always playing the same role over and over! Every character is unique and cute in their own way. Loved seeing Su Miao on screen, and Quan Shengtang was way too hilarious.
The music is a little strange but overall not bad.

Cast: Yu Shuxin played as the cute, bubbly girl which I think she nailed it. I personally preferred her other character in My Journey to you, but she did good. Ding Yuxi is a really good actor, I've seen him in other dramas and I'm happy that he's getting more recognition. He can act and I think this character is probably the character that fits him the most as someone who is somewhat evil but also holds a kind heart.
Costuming/Props/Makeup: The costuming of this drama is really different from other shows I've watched. It's not super ugly but it's a little excessive. There's lots of threads, beads, pompoms, and it's everywhere espeaically with You Shuxin's outfit. Watching it kind of gave me a headache because so much was going on with her hair. The other characters were fine.
OST: The ost's are catchy and good. I love dramas with good ost's, it adds a bit of sadness but also happiness into their songs. The singing for it also was really well done by the main leads.

Where do I start? I feel like s2 was a lot more different than s1. The characters in this show began to change a little bit. CX is more obsessive with XY. TSJ and XY's love start to deepen. XL has lost and given u all his hope on XY. The chemistry between all the leads were very good, the acting was very impressive especially XL's, I haven't seen any of Tan Jianci's drama however his personality is much more different than on hi6. There are some characters that I loved in s1 which made me hate their characters in s2.
The music didn't really have much of a change just added 2 new songs. The costuming and props were all very unique and well designed. The story line is a little confusing but straightforward.
I've cried and laughed during this entire show, and never cried that much at someone's death.

The main leads did great on acting. The support leads were also fun to watch. The drama ends how it starts. Not too bad. There wasn’t any music to it, and I loved how the main leads started off with hating each other but then ended up falling in love.
However during the late teens episodes, the story is kinda slow.

I wanna say I'm fairly kinda disappointed at this show. The first beginning couple of episodes were decent but then it gets boring. The story moves fast and everyone thinks Wei Lingyue is the phoenix. After we figure out that it is actually Wei Zhi, I don't know why she went to hide away. Instead of figuring out why the demons were "hunting her", she just runs away with her master. What makes the story a little worse, is there is no explanation to anything. I'm still confused what Hua Rong, I'm still curious as how this phoenix even started. In one episode Mu Nan tries to kill Wei Zhi, to force Wei Lingyue to come out the door. Like if Mu Nan likes Wangyue, and Wei Zhi and Wangyue have the same appernce, then Mu Nan should have already known that Wei Zhi is the phoneix.
The story is a little complicated and the ending makes no sense. And I'm so tired of seeing Ju Jingyi wear literally the same style every drama.

Not sending any hate to the cast, the cast was pretty good. For an example, Dilireba is one of China's top actresses, and so is Yang Yang, so putting these two top stars will most likely put this show on trending. I don't hate either of them, but I also don't watch a lot of their dramas. They aren't my favorite actors, but it's just the storyline and everything else was really bad to this show.
I will most likely not come back to watch this. I am more of a historical drama watcher, as it is more interesting to me. I will also say that, so far, to all the Dilireba's drama's I've seen, I'm kind of disappointed. My first show of her's was Eternal Love (Three lives, three worlds, ten miles of peach blossoms) that show was very good, then I watched Eternal Love of Dream, The Long Ballad, and this show. I didn't like any of those shows, so I'm disappointed, this drama wasn't really any different.

And what on earth does it mean by "immortals", these people are not immortals at all, in my opinion it just seems like a small sect learning to cultivate powers to get rid of evil. Because real immortals don't interfere with mortals, and its impossible for a mortal to become one. Pfft, all you got to do is take a test and you can become an immortal and learn powers. They are not immortals but just a sect that's learning to cultivate power.
For some reason, I've watched 2 dramas with Yang Chaoyue, this being the second and I don't have anything agaisnt her, but she plays the role that somewhat just makes me hate her role. There's nothing special about it, and I've watched about 14 episodes and nothing makes sense to me what so ever.
Not a good drama.

Moving onto the characters, they all speak in this gentle, slow voice and it kinda gets annoying to listen and watch. Especially Zhu Yan, I've never read the book, or whatever this show's based off but Zhu Yan is overly confident and arrogant. Dude believes he's the main character which he quite is, but he's super self-centered. I don't really have a big issue with anyone else, except they all talked really slowly and gentle which takes forever. But I did like Bai Jiu.
In terms of the actors, I've seen Chen Duling's acting skills and she's pretty good. She's a natural. I've only seen Tian Jiarui's "My Journey to you" and his acting skills was super good, so I'm glad to see him playing a different role to see his acting skills. I cannot with Huo Minghao. I've seen him in "In a girl like me" and "Back from the brink" funny to say I did not have good experiences with either dramas. He looks fine, and there's nothing wrong with his appearances it's the acting. I feel like he's always playing as the "gentle self-centered man". Like this dude cannot act in my opinion.

This is a rant
Ok wanna start off with, wth happened. Like I know I’ve only seen like 5 episodes of the entire show, but this entire part 2 is just so absurd. To start off the cast was absolutely trash, alright I’m not a fan of Yu Shuxin, but her acting as Tian Jingzhi doesn’t give me the same vibes as Wu Qian. The cast is different, like we’re adding in new characters that we don’t need, Xuanxuan and aye Chen disappears.
What’s up with Mike Angelo acting skills, he portrayed Xue Lingqiao so poorly. Like the entire “call me father” and “call me grandpa” scene between Xue Lingqiao and Yun Zhen is so fake like the Xue Lingqiao from season 1 would never ever say anything that cringy. From what I know Xue Lingqiao is a very serious person and doesn’t like to joke around, I don’t who Mike Angelo was playing as, but it’s definitely not Xue Lingqiao.
Also what’s wrong with Yun Zhen, like he’s begging Tian Jingzhi to date him yet he’s partying and has like 10 other girlfriends. The only thing that I was impressed was getting the original actor for Li Yanzhi and Feng Dongdong back, and the house that Tian Jingzhi lives in, though on the outsides it looks completely different but on the inside it’s completely the same just with a few modifications.
Other than that, watch season 1 and make up a story for season 2 on your own, don’t even bother watching this show. Never gave a drama this low of a star rating.

After all of this, I wasn't expecting the story to have a season 3. Season 2 was also put very well together just like season 1. The series does a really good job of recalling things that have happened in the past so it kind of forces you to watch season 1 to understand what's happening in this season. The show also does a great job of keeping the audience entertained. It has this feeling in the drama, where it lures you to keep watching. It makes you want to know what's going on and makes you continue to binge watch it.
The acting and cast is what caught me off guard. The most impressive part of season 2 was having more than half the og cast return. That is one pretty hard task to do. Not only is the og cast brought back but they've even introduced new characters which was awesome. The acting was also the same and really funny. The laughs between crown prince and second prince is super hilarious.
Can't wait for season 3, hoping the cast remains the same!

There wasn’t too many roles and not a lot of outfits. There also weren’t many crew members which can be seen on the last episode, so you wouldn’t really expect a lot from this drama. The story picks up a bit around episode 7 and then it story starts to head down around episode 15.
There’s no need to watch this drama again, unless you just really like the main leads.

One thing I will say that did surprise me was the double leads having a second chance to relive. Most shows I've seen, only one lead is given the chance to go back in time and remake their life decisions but it's really interesting how BOTH leads return with previous knowledge and it's like they've been married for years even though they aren't even married.
No offense to any of the actors or show, but I did find the episodes 4 and so on really boring. I've seen Zhang Linghe's other shows and loved them. Zhao Jinmai is sort of new to me but her acting doesn't really have anything to do that makes me want to drop the show.

Now the cast is great, but right off to the start, we have Luo Yunxi’s character who loves to play video games and I have absolutely no idea what Cheng Xian’s character is doing. Like I would like a good background explanation, but this might just be me being very biased, since the beginning of the show didn’t interest me and seemed confusing and about businesses and corporations.
