It's been awhile since I've watched a Cdrama. When I stumbled across this drama my first thought was "wow the cast is so beautiful". As I started watching I was very happy with the fighting scenes..they were shot so beautifully but the story telling at the beginning was a bit choppy. But hey..the cast look so good I continued. My favorite was probably the Stone illusion arc since there was a scene that actually stung. I loved the scene in which the couple was gradually being frozen to death...that was heart stirring. The next unforgettable scene for me that also made me feel a pang in my heart was when they shot Luyi? or the young fox girl...being trapped in the time loop...struggling to change ones destiny...that pain was very well felt. I wished the later episodes could have been better. I missed the sister's bond...even in the end we didn't see the same bond again. Also felt that the relationships for both couples were a bit lacking compared to the beginning. But overall it was an enjoyable drama. Hope to see these beautiful people again in another drama. Acting wise I thought all did good.

No need to accuse me of being an unkind person here. Not everyone sees that happiness can only be obtain by being with a man. Love can come in many any other form not necessarily from a romantic love interest. Trust is nice to have but for this business that they are showing its hard to find it. Im just saying for this show I would just prefer they show the sad and dark side of fighting to be on top. For me it would be more memorable. But hey...Im not against a cliche happy ending. It's just I was hoping for something different since this show started out surprising many.

The more I watch the more I wish the FL does not end up with anyone. I don't reject some romance endeavors but I'd prefer a bittersweet ending for this story. With all the betrayal...the violence...the heartache and loss...I rather the FL succumb to the notion that in this business you can't really trust anyone. No need for chains to bind you or become your weakness. She can't afford having any weaknesses in this line of cutthroat business.....especially being a woman. Can't wait for more episodes to come out.

I noticed it during the tub scene. It was so red that it was hard to miss.

Loving the first couple of episodes. Quite cute and made me chuckle at times. Thank goodness it's not cringy or overly corny. The amount of sweetness is just right. Pretty impress with the ML so far. Have never seen him but his acting is quite good for this role.

I see a lot of White Lotuses coming out now..guess that's what happens on MDL when drama ends? LOL. So done with this place. Toxic place.

Um no. Not a lot of people here does. This is the original poster's opinion..not unfair remarks. If you scroll down a little you would see comments saying how they don't care for 2nd leads..how main leads sooo much better. ....why don't you go there and tell them the same? Hypocrites everywhere here. And to see you justifying Snow lei lei's comment shows a lot already. Disgusting. Bye Bye. I hate arguing with hypocrites most.

If you are a big fan of the 2nd leads this place is not really for you because once someone comments how they like the 2nd leads more than the main leads all hell breaks loose here lol. If this place makes you unhappy don't stick around too much....not worth it...only a drama.

It doesn't matter what kind of names they call Lusi because at the end of the day it's the acting that normal viewers appreciate. Blaming actresses for fans' behavior is childish and immature. Ignore those types of comments.

....convince him with the abilities that we as viewers were forced to think she had. Once again..that ability was only if one would allow their self to believe in the narration and description of Changee. There is no resemblance between Joan of Arc and Changee besides their gender. People there are big believers in God and when her prediction came true is when the royals notice her. And only when her prediction won battles did she get recognition from the people, soldiers and King. It's embarrassing to even force me to think Changee is even close to that of Joan of Arc. Maybe if they wrote that Changee had signs from Buddha then maybe more viewers would believe in her talent and some of the ridiculous scenes that happened. That is why the ratings is where its at. Not surprise its even lower in China because they grew up watching historical dramas and can spot flaws a mile away. Okay...Im done with this argument with you it's been lovely. Bye Bye.

Yea..the story was a bit bland. Even the chemistry of the 2nd couple couldn't get me to finish the drama. I just ended up watching little clips on instagram when I'm bored and saying "awww how cute." hahahahah

Im not mocking it's called sarcasm. If you felt I was mocking and your feelings are hurt that was not my intention. And it's an embarrassment to even compare a figure like Joan of Arc to Changee. Joan of Arc had divine visions and predictions to help the reversal at the Battle of Rouvray. No military strategy...no talent but heavenly guide. I believe in God so hence I would believe in Joan of Arc. But for Changee...I dont think so.

Dang..so to win wars all we needed were to recruit soccer players and chess players...I see....okay...LOL. I will just stop here. I see we are not on the same wave length and you totally ignored the fact that I said her character is basically a narration, a description that is why it's weak for others to believe. They could of put Einstein in the show and let her stay with him for a week or so and viewers are to believe she is now a genius.

Yes..and that talent came out of thin air. I know most people here like this drama so I don't really voice my opinion on this matter much but not everyone will turn a blind eye in this regard. It's like this. Say you have 2 doctor in front of you. (This is just a simple analogy so don't research too deep regarding surgeons here. Im just making a point and trying to be quick lol ) ....One is fresh grad but is A student (valedictorian of class) and then you have a doctor who graduated with C average but has 10 years experience in heart surgery . Now..who do you want to operate on you? A young doctor who is considered a prodigy but never had much experience or a doctor who has done surgery after surgery?? This is why the situation regarding Changee genius military stategist persona becomes weak. Without footage of actual past hands on experience its quite unbelievable what she was able to do at the present time in the drama. All we have is a narration of how she was "trained". Some viewers say its believable and more power to them but here I state why I find it unbelievable. This does not mean the drama was bad but it had flaws. Some can see pass it some can't. And yes...we all know this is a work of fiction but that doesn't mean I need to dumb myself down. The manhua did a very good job showing Changee cleverness and intelligence but the drama failed. If it was able to follow the manhua better it would have succeeded in painting that part of Changee better. Just like Spiderman..we all know the story...we read the comics..we know what the highlights are....when the movie does justice to the original comic it gets praise and we flock to the theatres...but can we say the same about TLB? Did they follow the manhua well?? No.

I blame the production for this lack of development. I read somewhere that the scriptwriter was rushed quite a bit because the producer was just in a hurry for some reason. Not sure if that rumor is true or not but if it is...it really does show the inadequacy. So for TLB..one would not watch for the political stand point but more for the chemistry of the couples in the drama.

I think you should check it out for yourself. Everyone will have a different opinion on this matter. For me personally, I think they should have develop more in that aspect because it was unbelievable for me. I couldn't really get pass it. You are just told that the FL is a genius but nothing to really back it up. I felt like that was her description and I as a viewer was suppose to assume it without real facts or events to prove it. But that's just me because I've watched a lot of historical political dramas so my standards are pretty high on that aspect.

Yea. Just don't read her post. It's not healthy to read them. She degrades drama that shows intimacy on another level and classify it has a cheap drama whereas a drama like TLB with no kiss scene is like some sort of masterpiece. It's ridiculous. Her thoughts towards female actress are not healthy for you so don't read them. It's clear she is into the male lead and thats not a problem but her looking down on Lusi for her "kissyface dramas" are disgusting. Ugh and to know she's a female poster is even more embarrassing.

Just Ignore her comment. Instead of boasting that Lusi is career oriented she has to INSINUATE that she doesn't know how to balance work and life just to highlight the male idol. Hypocrite.

Don't worry too much. The toxic fans only get recognition on social media and they are just a fraction of the consumer number in reality. The brand is smart by playing the advertisement now because both party is hot right now. It's business. They are here to make money not babysit fans lol. But you can't escape obsessed fans so just take their hate like it's nothing. We can only hope the stars have a strong mentality to deal with the toxic side of show business. The hotter you are the more hate you will get. Especially female stars. It's unfortunate but that is the sad truth. Lusi gets more hate. Reba gets more hate. The scariest thing I see are those out of the line obsessed fans...stalking...harrassing....just freaking scary...when i read articles about stars being harassed I feel so sorry for them. So unsafe and hella dangerous.

Visually they are both good looking people. As long as the story is good I will always check it out regardless of pairing.
