Hi.. Sorry to bother you, but could you let me know where I can download or stream this drama? I don’t mind…
Honestly all his dramas are worth watching. He’s not done a single bad drama. But these are the ‘must watch’ dramas apart from the ones you have seen Sora Kara Furu Ichioku no Hoshi Antarctica HERO A Sleeping Forest Beautiful Life Kyojo Pride La Grande Maison Tokyo Mr Brain Ando Lloyd The Family
6 episodes in, I am confused between whether I would like Hikaru as my boyfriend or girlfriend.. I guess I’d have him either way. Such a supportive and sweet ML.
Doing justice to either of these genres (sci-fi, slice-of-life, comedy) is a tough job on its own so imagine the feat Bakarhythm has achieved once again in creating a wonderful gem that combined all these genres so seamlessly. This man just keeps hitting it out of the park with his ability to turn simple, everyday banter and mundane life stories of ordinary people into comedic gold that is smart, witty yet heartwarming. I am not exaggerating when I say this - screenwriters all over the world could learn a thing or two about writing, casting and direction from Bakarhythm. Highly highly recommended for all, as with pretty much all his works. These characters wil be missed.
I don't understand the low ratings. Sure, you may not like the ending, that’s just your opinion. But it's hard…
8.1 is a low rating?! That’s a pretty good rating for this show lol. It should be lower IMO.
Production quality and acting was great but the script was an absolute mess. More than the shitty ending, it’s the absolute disservice this show did to mental health that makes it so bad. The writer clearly didnt go beyond surface level research into what ASPD is all about and ended up labelling people with this disorder as evil monsters. None of the characters were layered and repeatedly did the same thing with little insight or development. So many characters served little purpose to the story other than increasing the shock value or just adding thrill.
‘Learning to love’ - an apt title that sums up the drama. It’s been a while since a romance drama moved me, hit me with the feels, and had me rooting for the leads. It’s not a masterpiece or what I would classify as an A1 drama but what I loved about this and what I love about J dramas in general is that they’re never trying to tell the perfect story or have the most perfect development for their characters (as opposed to dramas from their other Asian counterparts). It’s not about what these characters ought to be ideally but really about who they are as humans, what they desire and how we can accept them as a society. If you’re looking for a feel-good romcom or a romance drama with tons of skinship and cute scenes, this is not for you. This is for those who wish to watch a drama about two people connecting emotionally, and learning to love.
she thinks about him constantly, she has to give herself a pep talk to deal with his engagement, she literally…
I don’t think she likes him because I don’t see her considering his feelings at all. Has she ever thought of how she is playing with his feelings while giving him the impression that she is married? He told he was swayed and tried to kiss her. Has she ever sincerely apologised for the fact that she agreed to go with him on a date in E2? Even if she doesn’t know the extent of his feelings, she knows he has been looking out for her and yet she doesn’t consider why he does that and that her being married is awkward? She accidentally kissed him before the stream.. but they wrote it off as humour. Is that the way a so-called married woman should be behaving? After everything they’ve gone through together she doesn’t even trust him to tell him that she isn’t married? Im sorry but i don’t see love from her side at all.
Got around to E8 and I’ll give this 1 more episode. The FL’s passiveness and just how dense she is getting to me. Not to mention, the drag wjth the truth. URGHHHH. Girl after all this, you’re telling me that you still don’t know he likes you?! He freaking tried to kiss you outside the cave! Also, the FL is appearing as someone who enjoys the ML’s attention but doesn’t show genuine interest in him. I doubt she even likes him.
As someone diagnosed with APSD, I really appreciate your review.
If you don’t mind sharing, I would love to hear your perspective on how Ah Jin could have been fleshed out better (this is coming from someone who doesn’t know much about ASPD beyond the surface).
I’ve been watching her since the early 2000s and I just have to say that it’s amazing that she has constantly worked on her craft and grown so much as an actor. Hope that she continues to experiment with her roles and never gives up acting.
This show is getting boring. They pushed all the plots at the same time but none of them is sticking tbh. Its…
Completely agree. Even though cliched, I enjoyed it the first few episodes but after that the flaws of the script have become even more apparent and the writer is not even trying to untangle things.

That’s the exact problem I have with the way they write so many leads in South Korean romcoms.
