True but then they ending up tg would have not been moral … bcs if she was really married . I think he would…
There are tons of dramas about single mums and a ML.
He is under the misconception that she is married and is still claiming his right all over her. Just because they did not sleep together does not mean he hasn’t cheated.. Also, this talk of morality is bogus because dramas are full of characters being immoral lol. Literally every other k drama has cheating with either of the leads’ parents having an illegitimate child etc
After E7, I wish she was married instead lol because the angst would have really hit me with the feels. But right now I just find it stupid because I see no reason for her to continue hiding the truth. She knows he’s a nice guy who won’t throw her out of the company because she’s not married. Plus her whole act of I-was-swayed doesn’t make sense because girl what’s stopping you?! You were honest in E2 and almost slept with him so what’s the problem now?! The whole mess right now is just the writer’s way of stretching things. I am losing interest.
They’ve only been in a frame for 2 scenes but I find myself pretty interested in the ML’s sister and 2FL’s sister. That is some toxic dynamic that feels hot lol
It was neither a great film nor a bad film. There was a simplicity and quietness about it which was relatable and beautiful. However, all the central characters (the mum, the son and his daughter) were under-developed and their connection with each other beyond the blood ties wasn’t fleshed out well. I understood what they were going through but I never quite understood their journey and how they reached the character development that was intended for them. Nagano Mei looked pretty but this was not her best performance. There were various scenes where I felt like she was reading off a script; the sincerity she usually brings to her characters wasn’t here. I wanted to like it but I struggled to connect with the characters and their journey.

With such fantastic actors, you’d expect a decent movie at the least, but this was not it. I couldn’t make head or tail of what it wanted to be; Romance? Sci-fi? Human story? In trying to combine all these elements, there was barely any time spent on world-building and the end product was a messy, incoherent and pretentious story which I struggled to connect with.
Despite its flawed premise and the cliches thrown in, this was surprisingly entertaining, decently-paced, and fun thanks to the leads. The other characters were rather one-dimensional, but what saved them was that they were bearable without being overtly antogonistic or annoying compared to dramas from this period. All in all, a decent one-time watch. It's sad that South Korea doesn't make romcoms like this anymore.
7.3 is too high a rating for this trash. ML couldn't act to save his life and his character was even more insufferable. Throughout the entire drama, other than asserting his territory over the FL physically, not once did he show concern or love for her. His "romantic" lines were downright condescending and obnoxious. I never understood why the FL even fell for him because the ML never opened up to her, and neither did he ever say more than 2-3 lines in their scenes together. She was a doormat who lusted for him and worshipped him to the point that he simply needed to exist for her to be satisfied. They had chemistry, but I could never root for them beyond the first few episodes. The other characters weren't any better, and were bland to say the least. I would have given this a high score if they marketed it as a 101 toxic relationship and ended it in E14 rather than a love story, because I never saw the love from either side. All in all, this was a waste of my time and I don't recommend this. If you're looking for a similar premise, I'd recommend It Started with a Kiss (Taiwan) instead because there's so much more nuance to the ML and the leads' relationship in that drama. Plus the acting is top tier.
This! I was suprised by how underwhelming it actually is. I really expected more."Celebrity" was so much…
Unfortunately, part 2 didn't make it any better. I was frustrated to the point I had to write a review LOL I haven't seen Celebrity yet. I'll check it out. Highly recommend 'Zeni Geba' and 'Bump Off Lover' if you're into the revenge genre.

The film left a very deep impression on me, that's why this review was so much more personal.
