This is the first drama I think I've seen all the remakes of - Chinese (2), Japanese (4), Taiwanese, Korean, Hindi & Turkish. Looking forward to this even though it's done to death haha
If you guys love/like this one, you should give "Seviyor Sevmiyor", the Turkish version a try. I ADORED it 10x…
I've seen all the versions including the Turkish one. But I must say that the Japanese one (currently airing) is the best. Give it a try, it is so so good.
E4. Their chemistry, the conversations they had, their smiles; everything was so natural, heartfelt & beautiful, I am in love with our leads & this show <3 *SCREAMINGGGGGGGGGGGGGG*
A lovely tale of friendship, family & love filled with pleasant & endearing characters that was brought to life by an A1 cast. I loved all the characters & enjoyed their stories. Now I need to watch more asadoras. Highly recommended for all :)
This show was quite the surprise package. It didn't go the route I expected, but it was a decent, fun watch. I enjoyed this as a story of growth, with both of our leads moving on from the bitterness of the past to focus on their present & what they have. Special mention for the opening OST / dance - I loved it so much. Link to the song- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CUEfRFBGb9A
Karei Naru Ichizoku, Second Virgin, Kyouen NG, Dakara Koya, Okaeri Mone - all that talent & sexiness oozing from her. She's definitely found a fan in me.
Ahh the ending of E4. I wasn't expecting that. This is starting to get interesting. There is definitely more to what meets the eye & I can't wait to see where the show goes with this twist.
This film had some of the most stunning cinematography I've seen. Each frame was a work of art; it was so rich in its visuals, lighting, & colour. I gave it a higher score just for that. Unfortunately, that overpowered the story, which I didn't quite understand. Was there even a story? Like I got it, he loves his liquor & women but I was expecting more to him. In my opinion, the movie lacked soul. Watch for that cinematography & the very gorgeous Oguri Shun. The director did great at capturing Shun's beauty & charisma.
This was like one of those Disney movies; super cute, adorable, fluffy & fun. I loved everything about it. Taira Yuna's character was so adorable, anyone would fall in love with her, and Kento was swoony & kind. Together, they were a beautiful pair with tons of chemistry. It brought me back to the days when I was a young girl who thought the world was a pink, beautiful place.
I wonder why they chose to condense the drama into a movie, because it was so long (almost 4 hours). When you're watching a movie, you want it to get to the point or the main story a lot faster. Having said that, the movie really picks up after 1.5 hours.
I don't know if I liked this movie or not, but I found myself engaged throughout; I had no idea where this was going or how it would end, not until the very end. The characters were frustratingly real, and it's not a movie a regular audience might enjoy as you need patience to watch this. The FL appeared to lack an identity of her own & constantly apologized (not realising her agency) for most of it and while the ML was more firm & aware of his feelings, he too was wishy-washy. I don't mean this as bad characterizations per se, but rather character flaws which most of us have. I am glad they grew by the end of the movie, and I'd love to watch the scenes the movie version cut out from the drama.
Even though I consider this an average movie, it definitely made me feel strongly about many things. There were so many life lessons / takeaways - if you take responsibility for someone you got to take it all the way through & understand what you're inviting into your life, just because a woman appears easy it doesn't mean she's consented to sex, the power we have lies in the decisions we make & not the situation, being wishy-washy with your feelings often have negative consequences & what it means to live etc

I'd recommend this to a patient audience.
