Actually after I finished it, I think I did not like this overall. I liked it in parts only.
It's not just the husband's character but a lot of things that were unexplained and used sloppily like her desire to suddenly want babies (because the uterus talked to her, HUH?!), or like her rejoicing over pharmacist being a player (why should it even matter)..
I just felt that they stayed in the relationship for the sake of it rather than actually genuine love and desire to be together.
I wrote a long paragraph for it at the top HAHA

If there is one thing that no country can even come close to competing with lakorns about, it would be screaming women beating each other up (and this had plenty; basically anytime the nightclub women were on screen). They are absolutely unmatchable and unhinged in this aspect. That aside, this was far better than the remake. It had a much more understated, heartfelt and simple vibe, despite the misunderstandings, which was well complemented by Tik/Aom's effortless chemistry and charm.

There are a few of them that are subbed. I watched about 5-6 of them.
But yes I wish more were subbed because older lakorns were a class apart from the current ones (though i've finally found some stellar ones fron the recent lot)

Unpopular opinion, but I loved James with Toey more than his other pairings with Bella and Taew. Need him to do another drama with Toey, pretty please.

Let's say one day he is actually able to prove that he really didn't date her as a minor, I will still not support him because his behaviour and the way he has handled this situation has left such a bad taste in my mouth.

Beyond the fact that he and his agency have constantly lied, let's look at his behaviour during the press conference. No questions entertained, simply crying, head bowed down, and acting like a victim instead of looking the reporters in the eye, addressing the situation, and actually taking responsibility for his actions. Zero humility and regard for her or her family. Everything he said was so mechanical, memorized, and apathetic.. also very badly drafted (who wrote it?) His so called move of respecting her by not mentioning her name is freaking bogus. It is denying her identity altogether (something he has done time and time again) despite admitting to the relationship finally.

Same. The writing in S1 was great. S2 was subpar.
Not sure how S3 will pan out.. but I'll still check it out as I love the cells.

I have to say I prefer the folk version that Bua sang in the drama.

There was nothing strikingly unplesant about this lakorn.. There was barely any scheming villains, or extreme bullying / violence or anything loud that you would expect. And yet, this had little substance.
All the characters were very one-dimensional, and there was very little that really happened in this. The leads were complex but nothing was fleshed about them or what they went through being part of the restrictive household.. I finished this lakorn not knowing anything about their likes / dislikes other than the general characteristics which I learnt about them in Episodes 1-2 (which by the way were the strongest episodes).
Andrew / Bua had such beautiful chemistry.. too bad the show never quite utilized it.

My reason for using those words is that I do not wish to go into the specifics of the crime(s), because that would mean doing a proper write-up and summary using the right words which would be very time consuming and take a lot of effort. I believe some of them have been involved in fraud and scams which are not my concern, thus, the "what not".
Also I do not wish to go into detail reading about the horrors of the crime(s) these people did. I made this list one fine day when I was just feeling annoyed by all these celebrity behaviours, and just do some basic fact-checking before I add anyone. I try my best to update it as regularly whenever anything comes up and that itself is very toiling and tiring for me mentally as I have been a victim before. I did not expect it to become popular or for so many people to reach out, comment or even see this as a go-to list.
Your comment is honestly very valid, and maybe one day when I really get the time and motivation, I will sit down to do a proper write up but at the moment, I am not in the mental space to do so. I hope you understand :)

They seized Darren's phone when he tried to get out of military service, and that's when the authorities found evidence of him instructing a gang to take revenge on a driver he had an argument with by beating him up. The initial charge was attempt to murder, which was finally dropped to assault. He was, thus, taken in custody. Currently he's out on bail and serving military service during which he'll be going for court hearings on this matter.

Ji Soo admitted clearly admitted to the bullying, thus he has been cancelled in South Korea. He's now trying to establish a career in the Philippines.
