In Kono Yo No Hate, she wasn't just physically disabled, but she lost her mental capacity as well.. To add to that, Shiro destroyed her with all the abuse. So yeah for me, they were as good as dead together because whatever bliss they once shared was out of the window. so yeah that pretty much made it an unhappy ending because she was no longer capable of feeling alive.

I actually clicked on the episodes a few times and then stopped myself HAHA because i was just so unsure if Netflix will upload it timely. So i decided to be patient and wait. But it was hard. Luckily i was also busy.. so that helped.

EXACTLY! Actually after I finished it, I think I did not like this overall. I liked it in parts only. It's not just the husband's character but a lot of things that were unexplained and used sloppily like her desire to suddenly want babies (because the uterus talked to her, HUH?!), or like her rejoicing over pharmacist being a player (why should it even matter).. I just felt that they stayed in the relationship for the sake of it rather than actually genuine love and desire to be together. I wrote a long paragraph for it at the top HAHA
If there is one thing that no country can even come close to competing with lakorns about, it would be screaming women beating each other up (and this had plenty; basically anytime the nightclub women were on screen). They are absolutely unmatchable and unhinged in this aspect. That aside, this was far better than the remake. It had a much more understated, heartfelt and simple vibe, despite the misunderstandings, which was well complemented by Tik/Aom's effortless chemistry and charm.
I can't seem to find this with subs anywhere. Where did you watch it?
There are a few of them that are subbed. I watched about 5-6 of them. But yes I wish more were subbed because older lakorns were a class apart from the current ones (though i've finally found some stellar ones fron the recent lot)

Unpopular opinion, but I loved James with Toey more than his other pairings with Bella and Taew. Need him to do another drama with Toey, pretty please. I am obsessed with them after Matalada and Timeline.
Let's say one day he is actually able to prove that he really didn't date her as a minor, I will still not support him because his behaviour and the way he has handled this situation has left such a bad taste in my mouth.
Beyond the fact that he and his agency have constantly lied, let's look at his behaviour during the press conference. No questions entertained, simply crying, head bowed down, and acting like a victim instead of looking the reporters in the eye, addressing the situation, and actually taking responsibility for his actions. Zero humility and regard for her or her family. Everything he said was so mechanical, memorized, and apathetic.. also very badly drafted (who wrote it?) His so called move of respecting her by not mentioning her name is freaking bogus. It is denying her identity altogether (something he has done time and time again) despite admitting to the relationship finally.
