It's taking a century to finally see that fourth episode get subbed. I should learn better not to watch airing…
FYI the subber has been subbing this every week, and it's subbed till E6. https://twitter.com/Luwuang/status/1382394607208706051 Streaming sites don't update regularly, so it's best to watch from the subber's site. All the pages on MDL always have a comment listing who the subber is.

Exactly, I'm looking forward to see where they go with their relationship. To be honest, I empathize with Shun. I don't think he lacks the goal, it's more like he gave up on trying to be ambitious because of the failure & setback. I do hope he will be able to overcome that & work towards his goal without any regret.
Btw I recently started studying again, and I'm pursuing Psychology as my 2nd degree. Nice to meet you hehe
There's this drama called Kokoro no Kizu wo Iyasu to Iu Koto, where the male lead is a psychiatrist. It's a really powerful and tender drama on mental health. Do check it out.
E4. I wanna squeal because this continues to be so so good. Like more than just the romance between the leads,…
Some things I'd love to point out -
I appreciate how they handled the whole issue with the pregnancy. It was done very sensitively. They gave her the space she needed, while at the same time, let her know that they were all there for her. Sometimes that's really what we need.
I generally don't like ambiguity in relationships but with Shun & Mameshiba, I quite like the fact that they're using "I probably like you" rather than "I like you". There is an honesty to where their feelings currently stand, and I like that they're taking it slow & not jumping to confessions & more. I'd love to see how they progress to the next step. Speaking of which, wasn't it lovely to have Mameshiba ask Shun for a hug, rather than just back hugging him or jumping onto him? I appreciate that she values consent. It is so so important.
There's one thing though and this may be an unpopular opinion. While we do see Mameshiba's lifestyle as somewhat problematic with her being too much of a workaholic & not having a good work/life balance, I see the same with Shun in the way he works whenever he wants. I do appreciate that he's aware of it & puts his happiness & peace of mind first. I honestly have a lot of admiration for people who can prioritise their happiness first. But let's be real - when you're living in a big city like Tokyo (which is very expensive) such a lifestyle is hardly going to help one with paying the bills. It would be different if he was living in the country. In real life, despite how swoony Shun is, many women would not want to marry a guy who does not have a proper income, and works whenever he wants. Not that I want him to be in the capitalism race, but I do hope that we'll get to see both the leads meeting at a middle ground, with Shun truly pursuing his dreams & having a little more income (rather than working when he wants) & Mameshiba pausing every now & then. I wouldn't mind him working as & when he wants, if Mameshiba does that too (like that would be an equal relationship)
E4. I wanna squeal because this continues to be so so good. Like more than just the romance between the leads, the characters & the relationships they're all forging with each other is so heartfelt, sincere & warm that you can't help but root for them. It's lovely watching them all grow up individually, and grow together as friends/family. I always end the episode with a smile, feeling refreshed and energetic about all the good things life has to offer (despite how messy and chaotic life can be sometimes).
Unlike other Asian dramas, Japanese dramas are fan subbed. The subber is doing us a service by subbing it for…
I don't think its just about popularity though. Unlike other countries, Japan doesn't make dramas for international audiences; like they don't stream stuff on platforms like most Korean/Chinese dramas do. They are not really concerned with making it popular. That is why 99% of J dramas are voluntarily fan subbed, because they are not available internationally with subs :(
Happy Birthday. One of my first few intros to J dramas!
