WHY DOES SUZUKI HONAMI'S CHARACTER ALWAYS END UP ALONE? I always root for her character and love her so so much. This drama, Kono Yo No Hate, Tokyo Love Story all just broke my heart.. she deserves better.
A rare Nojima Shinji drama that wasn't dark. I liked it, but didn't love it.
A simple coming-of-age drama focusing on a group of friends struggling to find their place and purpose in life post University. The drama covered a range of topics like struggles in the workplace, loneliness, the difference between reality & dreams, marriage, pregnancy etc.
The characters were relatable and I empathized with them. The acting was very sincere. But at times, I also felt that Nojima Shinji tried too hard with this one. Some of the resolutions were neatly tied with a bow though I could see his attempt to make it real. Having watched most of Nojima Shinji's works which are after this drama, I can say that he's grown as a writer, and has settled into his own style and flair (little touches of which are present in this drama).
Nonetheless, it was a fairly decent & enjoyable drama. I would recommend this for anyone that wants to watch something that is light & not too complex (yet somewhat real).
Oh man one episode a week and not a fast subbed drama. My patience is tested every time with Japanese dramas haha.
Unlike other Asian dramas, Japanese dramas are fan subbed. The subber is doing us a service by subbing it for us, free of cost. They don't get paid to do it. They have their own life & their own commitments. I understand that you're excited & can't wait to see the next episode but comments like this can be very discouraging to the subber who is trying her best to do it as fast as she can. Let us be thankful that they chose to sub this for us in their free time, which they could have used to do other things.
FYI the subber has indicated that the subs will be up tonight :)
URGHHHHHHHHHH IT'S UNFAIR.
