I'm watching 17 ongoing dramas OMGGGG & they're all ending within the next 2 weeks :(
Also, Nijiro Karute is not a medical drama. It's a slice of life drama about spreading love & supporting one another, with some medical stuff thrown in because that 's the occupation of the leads :)
The beginning of E8 with Taiyou all traumatized & then listening to the death song HAHAHAHA his misunderstanding & awkwardness had me grinning. But I was crying for him by the end of the episode. Taiyou is such a beautiful, sensitive soul I wanna give him a big hug! The friendship between Masora, Saku & Taiyou is just so beautiful. How refreshing to see a platonic relationship between 2 men and a woman. This show is pure delight in every way. Even though there are so many fantastic Japanese slice of life dramas, this has become my favourite!
She's had a lot of episodic appearances in great dramas. But her notable drama performances are - Bungaku Shojo, Princess Maison, Gomenne Seishun & She.
Who knew that looking for a house could be so heartwarming? What an underrated drama! Seriously, no country comes even close to Japan when we talk slice of life & unique stories.
I KNOWWWW people don't talk about Aoi & Gon enough. I love them so so much. I almost teared up when Gon watched the family. Maybe it's just me, but I feel that Aoi & Gon have just always been by each other's side & been too careful (yet casual). I really think that if either of them were to seriously convey their feelings to each other, they would be more. Fuga may have been someone Aoi never forgot but with Gon, it's different. They're soulmates. Just like Hikaru & Sora. Sora may have a crush on Wataru (he's such a decent chap honestly) but with Hikaru, it is different. I teared up again when Sora said she'll never forget Hikaru's scent.
At the end of the day, I just want all of them to be happy & to follow their heart regardless of who they choose.

WORD! This one, Nijiro Karute & Uchi No Musume have been my most favourite dramas this season, esp the latter. Man the attachment I have to all the characters in Uchi No Musume, I have never had that kind of love for an entire cast. I want to be a part of their world so bad. I do think its Kitagawa's best writing, even though she's written some of the most iconic dramas. You can see she really outdid herself, & wrote the wittiest & most sensitive script (out of everything she's written). Just the gamut of emotions I have gone through with the whole journey... sigh I don't know when we'll see something like that again :( Similar with Nijiro Karute.
This one I will really miss for the adrenalin & excitement I felt trying to solve the mystery, & also all the actors.
