I went in with low expectations given the length and bad reviews, but I was surprised by how much I enjoyed this show from start to finish. While there were tropes in the second half that could have been avoided or done better, the unpredictable way in which the characters reacted made this stand out. All the way to the end, each character remained grounded, consistent, and likeable. It's very rare for a 40 episode drama with so many characters to not have a single character that was evil or annoying, and to maintain a decent pace that emphasizes character development. It's not the best drama out there but it was an entertaining one-time watch filled with tons of family bonding, friendship, love, support, laughter, and heart.
Time well spent :)

P.S Jing Fen & Yu Xuan FTW <333

You will be surprised. In my previous workplace, there was a colleague a lot like the FL who barely knew her work…
Of course, it's unfair. Whoever said the world was a fair place HAHA

It was a simple funny drama ,but it doesn't represent reality because there is no way that someone talentless…
You will be surprised. In my previous workplace, there was a colleague a lot like the FL who barely knew her work and always managed to find ways to get others to do her work while being nice. Most people questioned how she even got hired, and managed to stay on.
If you're pretty and have a pleasant disposition, trust me, you can survive despite being talentless. Of course it's not the same in every workplace but there are people who are lucky like that.

Title Tokyo Love Story Spoiler
Spoiler tag please. As much as I hated that Rika was the only one who was left all alone in the end, I appreciate…
She deserved so much better :((

This wasn't without its flaws, but they nailed the romance. I didn't want it to end.
I need more romance dramas like this.

I like your list! Son Suk Ku was in a drama called Mother (2018). That was the drama that introduced me to him.…

What a wonderful drama about supporting one another, what it means to be family, and following your dreams. As always, Japan always gets the slice-of-life genre right.
Highly recommended for all :)
