This is my opinion But for once, I don't think the FL was wishy-washy. She made it clear to him that she loves another and it wouldn't be appropriate to meet. He reassured her that he wouldn't cross the line. And he hasn't in front of her. She has no idea about the things he's been saying and doing behind her back.
And WORD - he acts like she is a toy that he can take away whenever he wants. And sadly, this is not the only drama that does this.. countless of them have this annoying love triangle where they treat the FL like a possession they own and have the right to dictate who she stays with and what she should be doing.
It wasn't great, but was pretty entertaining and fun. Gakky tends to choose decent scripts, and Ohno Satoshi always nails comedy. Winning combination. I liked the supporting cast as well! Time well spent :)
I actually found him pretty bearable for most of the drama but ever since he told the ML that he will take the FL away if he fails to protect her, I got pissed off because like who the hell is he LOL
Episode 15 Doesn't make her staying at Mi Ho's house defeat the purpose of protecting her? Like she'd be way more safe at his house.. also wouldn't staying at the friend's house endanger Mi Ho and her family as well?
Sorry, but what right does the prosecutor have to tell SJH off? You're her friend and you should stay as one. Just because you have feelings for her does not give you the right to butt in. Another frustrating element in Asian dramas.. just why this obsession with love triangles.
Also all this angst.. did it have to come right towards the end? This is a problem I have with a lot of Asian dramas in general.. if you're going to introduce angst do it mid-way, so that you can have a proper resolution and lessons for leads to learn post all that angst. The ending should be about wrapping up, concluding and moving towards a message you want to tell and NOT ABOUT INTRODUCING LAST MIN ACTION / ANGST JUST TO TIE IT UP WITH A BOW FOR A HAPPY ENDING. The way a drama ends is as important as it's beginning and middle - when will writers learn that?
Anyway I am not going to jump to conclusions and will comment after watching the finale.
this is such a fun watch, with fun and interesting characters. i love the music and aesthetics as well. so enjoyable.
If you liked this, you should definitely check out more of Kudo Kankuro's dramas like Tiger and Dragon Kisarazu Cat's Eye Gomenne Seishun Ore no Ie no Hanashi Yutori Desu ga Nani ka 11 Nin mo Iru!
Sigh I'm probably in the minority who wasn't a fan of the ending.. I wish it ended when they she sent him the…
Now that you mention it.. maybe I did come in with a pre-conceived notion that she has a disability so it would be a love story centering around that. Having said that, I did quite enjoy this drama. I think the leads really looked like a real couple that was in love.
I am glad you're open-minded enough too that you didn't take my different views as a criticism of the show or thinking I'm a hater LOL.. I wish more people realised the beauty of differing POVs and how much that adds to a discussion and understanding of how different people see things differently.. unfortunately MDL is full of too many fanatics rather than real lovers of Asian cinema.

And yes, I loved the cast!
Too bad Netflix just doesn't know how to get a J drama right :(

I hope it's not true.
I supported him when he was charged for using drugs, but sexual assault is something I can't support.
Tiger and Dragon
Kisarazu Cat's Eye
Gomenne Seishun
Ore no Ie no Hanashi
Yutori Desu ga Nani ka
11 Nin mo Iru!
The ending is fitting, and heartwarming.
