Yeah that's what I got from today episode, first LWY just want to save WWY and prevent her to find about the truth. After find the path which prevent WWY get killed then she's found out even after knowing the truth WWY still trust her. But then that timeline led to another event which ended up with JL get killed so now she's try to figuring out how to prevent it.

Think Ji Shi get triggered everytime Ji Ling died so in each timeline JL died so LWY choose to keep repeating the time. While on this current timeline due to feeling loneliness which for JL he probably dying inside knowing even LWY left him hence somehow he could tapped in and have glimpses to previous timeline which ended up he's losing power, going crazy then died making LWY suffered in the end which triggered Ji Shi to let her rewind the timeline to save him.
