THAT is not happy ending, it was selfish act from JL 1.0 after he losing and fail to protect his own LWY 1.0 on the main timeline. JL 1.0 so selfish he feels need taking out LWY 2.0 from the past, which the one should be JL 2.0 fated one, the one who destined to saved JL 2.0 life later.

LWY 2.0 could grow naturally in the past then meet with JL 2.0 later creating their own memories but now without worry LWY 2.0 carrying or manipulated by sect leader (JY) since its already been killed by JL 1.0. LWY 2.0 also deserved lived under WWY 2.0 guidance with much love and warm. If they playing it well with how WSG have all memories they could clearing all mission in each arc faster and clean then created real happy ending for everyone in new timeline.

Someone on tiktok even mentioned something funny, JL who travelled in time not even JL 1.0 but JL 1.1 since he's only created by fragment of JL soul stone not the actual JL 1.0. So basically LWY 1.0 and JL 1.0 basically already gone on main timeline.

Finally someone who get brothered like me with forced HE for JiLu when they could just took another path to create HE for everyone more naturally if they didn't messed up the timeline.

And indeed VOS was great Cdrama, for someone who first time watch GJM work his styles feels so fresh like at start it's barely having foreplay just straight to action, Xiaowei arc with their thrilling mystery detective drama tidbit definitely hooked me.

When Cai Wei swapped her face isn't logical if suddenly Shangguan Zhi switch personality in a night. Should just let Cai Wei pretending to be evil Shangguan Zhi so people around her to not get suspicious. Then gradually show her tsundere side slowly, should let JJY act as evil Shangguan Zhi more.

Another Cdrama which could be great if they just following materials from the original novel. In novel Furong died and goes back to her childhood and decide this time she not gonna repeat her miserable married with Xujin and chasing Xuping instead. Also Furong doing anything to save her little brother who died from pox in previous life. While in this drama they show that plot without a backbone so we didn't get how Furong more trust to Xuping than Xujin or how she get all of that prophecy through her dream.

First six episode basically straight from detective drama when they try to solving murder case. Two CP only start flirting there but not so much. The romance will start peaking at next arc at Star stone illusion arc.

First Cdrama who made me read the original novel and get mad afterwards. How they couldn't even translated 10% from that great novel into this Cdrama. If you read the novel you'll understand how they messing the plot and mismatch some character then ruined it. That's why at start they doing great since mostly follow the material from the novel then when they start adding their own story and character, the plot getting messier.

Watch Cdrama fans nowadays it's like Kpop fans fighting over who's get more line or center distribution lol there's would never be a fair line or center distribution if they mean each member should get an equal sec of line or center distribution since every member have different skill and trait, as long as they delivered the song and performance as whole that should be the priority.

Same goes with the Cdrama every character have their own role and purpose to maintain the story keep going. I still can't believe saw someone literally count and comparing until it millisecond. Did they even understand each story have different weight on it, some story probably not having much screentime but sometimes it carry different weight to the story or some it's more important to make the story develop and maintain the narrative.

In normal condition everything you say it's 100% true.

But remember at that time she's under legal battle and after leaving SIBA she basically a lone wolf and try to build her new legacy without any protection. What VOS and Youku offered probably guarantee they would backing her no matter what and they keep that promise making this drama got aired at the end. What's the point if she keep the ego to get first billing etc etc if they couldn't even make sure the drama get aired like tons of other JJY project beside VOS which still in oblivion.

Those people who hate Ju Jingyi should be grateful instead since she basically doing charity accepting that equal billing BS. Eventho as a fans, I hope from now she could have freedom to pick whatever drama and role she like. At this point of her career think money shouldn't be priority, once in a while she should take more risky and bold project like VOS.

Acting-wise VOS clearly huge boosted for Ju Jingyi. As long time fans I even surprise with her acting here and this is what I dreamed of she taking more bold and multi dimensional character to show her range in acting.

Its Ju Jingyi first project after part way with SIBA her previous shitty management. So its kinda statement for her to take such a complex character to prove herself since her previous project basically they playing safe everytime.

GJM and Youku also protecting her while SIBA keep harassing her even targeting this drama to not get aired which is failed. At the end of days you can see more people get enlightenment how good Ju Jingyi is and all this time its clearly SIBA the one who holding her potential. That's why I quite confident if they made season 2, Ju Jingyi more than welcoming to work with them again since VOS basically have great impact for her.

It would be WuWu and Li Jie try to find and save JiLu couples. Think they will make You Chi as fake deity while Wu Shiguang have adventure lol

For season 2 I want them to digging more about formless moon sect like make their origin story or maybe new villain coming from them.

Everything happens from eps 27 onward its for plot sake and instead wrapped it up nicely to made the timeline in order they just created an open ending which exactly why they announced season 2 right away.

They stuck on timespace is more likely and they will find a way to bring them back on season 2

This is canon on my brain from now on until they give the real season 2 😂

While I'm specifically watch it for the fox sister lol when they show to us all the bond and memories basically was a lie its really shattered me.

LWY 2.0 basically a toddler and JL kidnapping her lol its quite creepy, that's why I more into if they just let her grow naturally in the past timeline.

JL from the future basically killing past JL when he remove LWY from the timeline. I'll be mad as hell if I'm that past JL, future me making me perished because he selfishly taking out my soulmate and it will be my villain origin story 😂

If they only keep Yanan and Rui only, its probably about Yuan Wuhou and Yuan Xizai origin. Then bromance between Yuan Wuhou and Ji Ling on early days.

If they keep the 4 main lead, they probably make it as LWY and JL peaceful life just illusion created by new villain so WuWu and Li Jie gonna try to find a way to saving them.
