Lol, what I thought of when watching episode 1 is that Marquis Pingjin from Legend of Zanghai plays here as ML's father who dies. In LoZ, he does the opposite, one of the people who killed Zanghai's family XDDD!!! Both dramas taking on revenge but he plays opposite roles. Not to mention how Zhou Qi plays as his son in LoZ and he's also here in this drama. Wow crazy LOL

He's also in Fushanhai (The Journey of Legend)! If I'm not wrong, he was also in Time Raiders

I only watched the first episode and I LOVE IT ALREADY!!!!!! So happy to see Chengyi once again! Seeing on screen always puts a smile on my face! 🥹 He's portraying Huai'an so well, I am so proud of him!! Makes me so happy to see him in this type of drama and type of role for the first time. I know I haven't fully seen his dark side yet but boy am I excited to!!! 🔥

What a coincidence. I just finished Ep.34 and on Ep.35 rn (haven't started) but anyways, the romance feels so forced. I've been telling my sister this (she is behind so she hasn't seen the romance yet) but we rlly don't like it if a drama that doesn't need romance HAS romance or if it feels forced. If it's done right then maybe I'll change my mind I keep saying the same thing too that it feels one-sided. It's always showing the FL thinking about Qi'an and wanting to see him while Qi'an never does. He doesn't think about her and is always thinking about doing what he needs to do as a Guardian. The kiss in Ep.20 something (I forgot the exact) felt super forced and so all of a sudden. Their relationship didn't develop and it was only built on lies. I actually was disappointed that after all that she lied to him, he doesn't get mad nor does she get any consequences but embarrassment. I expected something more to happen but nope. I thought Qi'an might hold a grudge or smth but it never happened. Anyways, I just don't feel chemistry between them :( Their scenes together tbh are my least favorite in the drama and I'd prefer to watch the others more. Not to mention, where have his 2 Guardians been? Still no site of them after they thought he died??? They were my favorite! Love all the other people around him tho. Random, but I'm starting to really enjoy the scenes of him with the Princess Consort tho she barely got any screentime so far lol, the way he keeps her from going anywhere and her failing to leave from his sight makes me laugh 😂😂😂😂 Anyways, hope the romance will be shown even less in the next season :( I started to get a bit frustrated just seeing the romance scenes even tho I know it's not not shown much but lately they have been showing them (and what I mean is the FL ONLY wanting to see ML and nothing else... I think those scenes are unnecessary, not needed) I mean to me FL isn't interesting nor written well. I even prefer her chemistry with Pingyang A LOT more. The chemistry for them was there but the leads, not so much....

The way this might rlly air soon and we got legit nothing, no poster no trailer, nothing! They revealed nothing 😭 Still super excited tho but it's the first rime I see a drama like this 🫠 Also, I'm too excited for the 19 OSTs we'll be getting! GJM always does soooo good in them with FoF being my #1 fav out of every drama I watched! So I'm super hyped esp with all the character songs! I know they're gonna all be so beautiful 😭🥹

Omg I've srsly been wanting to watch this for a long time bc I hear everyone saying how sooo good it is!!!!! Back then I barely watched CDrama but knew of The Untamed long ago bc of Netflix and dang it rlly was popular back then 😭 Like I thought it was but never looked it up to confirm this. It has always been on my watchlist but took me 3 years to finally watch it (after finally starting to get rlly into Cdramas cuz it used to be rare for me to watch them). It rlly deserves all the success and recognition it got. I remember watching it with rlly high expectations bc I wanted to watch it for sooo long and I was so happy it didn't disappoint me at all. I rewatched it a year later and didn't get bored again. I was in the middle of reading it but barely got into it but need to start again. I mean I am so bad at reading, idk why but I needa get making reading a habit like I do watching! 😭😩 I got all the books a year ago including other danmeis (WHICH INCLUDES TGCF!!!!!) I've been waiting for Eternal Faith for a long time like can we just get it plz 😭😭😩😩😩 I'm gonna start MDZS and TGCF after since school is finally almost done. I need this time lol 😅 Btw yeah nothing can beat TU for me. It'll always be my #1 ❤️ (honestly I have 2 favs bc they both gave me different special feelings like no other dramas have but still 😂)

Also TMI but the WuJi flute version has been my alarm for over 2 years (almost 3) (right after finishing the drama). I've changed it a few times but always had to go back and change it back to the WuJi one bc its just the best to wake up to 🥹 Rlly the best alarm 💙🫶🏻

It was the first BL drama I watched and this is the drama that made me want to start watching some more strong bromances haha. Ikrrr for me quality is more important for me. For instant I first watched Blood River on Youku and was sooo bothered by the quality but thankfully when it only had less than 10 eps, I eventually found a way to watch it in 4K and the experience was SO MUCH BETTER. I can't imagine watching a drama like that in Youku international quality. Vendetta of An will also be dark too so a rlly high quality is def needed for a better experience 🔥

Ah, I was gonna comment here but forgot to but happy birthday to Ruirui and me! I'll never forget the day I found out he shared the same bday as me 🥺 This day I will always cherish even more bc we share it together 🥺🥹 I remember the first time I watched him was as Gong Yuanzhi and it was his only drama. I was really surprised bc his acting there blew me away that he became my favorite character there! And after watching FoF, I fell in love with him even more, Zhuo Yichen becoming my fav too. After that, it made me want to look forward to all his dramas as they come out! I still can't believe we only got 2 dramas from him, and none this year so far. I hope VoS does rlly come out (I believe it will soon ahhhh)! I am so looking forward to it! From Gong Yuanzhi to Zhuo Yichen to Ji Ling. I think every time Rui comes out with another drama, each character he plays, I just love more and more. They are just all amazing and so diverse. Already reuters alone has been making me anticipate for Ji Ling so much for months! I already have a feeling he'll become my fav too. I can't wait to see him 🥹 And Long Shen too, his colder persona! I also can't wait for TLORC and his other roles too! Hwaiting Ruirui!!!!

This rating is just so wrong. How is this even possible for a drama like this???? I rlly hope the rating won't stop people from watching this bc it is soooo good and most of us actually really enjoyed it! Plz try it to see if you'll like it instead of judging from ratings alone. You might be missing out on a drama that you'll end up enjoying and loving! Also, most of us believe this drama deserves at least an 8.5. The rating does not do justice to this drama at all. Let me guess it's haters and romance lovers who expected more romance but got disappointed 🙄😤 Stop thinking there's gonna be romance in the first place when there's legit no tags for it 😑

Gosh this was sooo devastating but I loved it so much 😭😭😭😭 Couldn't stop crying in the last episodes especially 😭😭😭😭😭 Gonna watch Forever and Ever right away to ease myself from the ending which I already spoiled myself long ago (well at least one of them)! I just know if I wasn't prepared for it, I would be even more frustrated, devastated, and soooo disappointed with it. I still am, still cried a lot, was very devastated (still am) but it's easier to accept once you've already seen it coming, it's just too sad 😭😭😭😭

ofc that seems very impossible cuz there's a lot of them :/ but hey we did get VoS where 3 of them (Tian Jiarui, Chen Duling, and Yanan) became part of it too! Oh and also The Ingenious One S2 with Cheng Xiao and Lin Ziye! The only person we haven't seen get a reunion is Pei Siheng. Hope one day he gets one. I'm at least grateful for these bc ofc it's not rlly possible for a whole friend group to be casted altogether again :(

Ikrrr ever since it went down to 8.0, coming to this page I always get scared that it'll hit the 7s but I always hope I'm wrong. If it changes ratings, it better go up like I expected instead of it going the opposite... I rlly thought the rating would go up instead of down after airing finished but.... 😔 Anyways.
