The recent Duel on Mount Hua 4 part mini-series are mostly back stories. I am halfway (Ep 5) @ Part 3 now, Southern Emperor and Northern Beggar. Just felt part 3 is not as good as the Nine Yin and Eastern & Western Venom. Will review later.

It's good . Yang Yang is very fitting to take on the role of Han Li IMHO. I totally enjoyed this live-action so far. The production is great. I like it that the the story remained close to the donghua.

I'm still on Coroner's Diary and finishing soon. Am really looking forward to Immortal Ascension. I have been waiting for sooooo long. I enjoyed the Donghua and it's a really solid story. Hope the live-action would not disappoint as many live-action failed horribly.

Looking at the trailer and with Yang Yang taking the ML role, I am very hopeful that this series will turn out great. So , I am going to watch this with an open mind and be objective as donghua and live-action will surely has variance. Have to lower the expectations.

It's EP 22 as I write this. By the time I start binging this series, I am sure , will be just nice to finish the whole 30 episodes. Hurrah!

Alright, if all good.. then that's something we can look forward to. Recently there are so many Legend of Heroes released and on-going as well. I supposed this is a really good time to release this series while the momentum of Condor Heroes is trending. I sure look forward to see Tong Mengshi doing Yang Guo.

It's a decent watch. This version portrays a very different light of Mei Chao Feng and finally, a version that gives more time to Cheng Xuanfeng. In the past, his character is not very well elaborated.

So, overall a good watch.

I get you as well. I am quite annoyed with how the script was very cruel to the male lead for many times over, but maybe that is why it keeps me going to the end. Something usually script don't do. On that account, I still feel it is pretty new approach.

The saving grace is the ending. At least, it recovered my anger and the ending is pretty good IMO.
