🤣😁I tried. Not seeing it. Gang Ju mom actress has those overfull lips, an obvious nose job, and bold brows and a fuller rounder face. The Hwang actress (from She Was Pretty, right?) has a small, narrow face with small delicate features and looks pale and washed out because she does that no-makeup makeup look all the time and looks rather bland in my opinion. Gang Ju mom actress has a face that is full of character.

I actually liked the cute, birdlike tone. Her real voice IRL is normal though. I’ve seen her in interviews. But, the unique voice was a part of the novel and was key to helping the villain identify her. That’s really all he could hold onto as he didn’t know her face. But he knew that voice! I read from a comment that this was not emphasized enough in the drama as it was in the novel.

A desperate mother will do desperate things for her children. She was at the end of her rope especially when she heard her son failed the second exam. I think she was desperate enough to go along with whatever Yiniang proposed especially when she knew that her sister-in-law was a murderer gunning for her next.
