He was indeed especially reserved in this role as he had to be careful with the FL since she had misunderstandings about their relationship. He was constantly restraining himself even though he was falling in love with her. He’s a good actor. He was lighter and a bit more comedic, as someone said, in “Are You the One?” (which was very good, btw). Definitely a reserved serious demeanor in general though.

She should have looked rough and haggard and grungy, if you don’t like the word dirty, yet she looked “pretty.” It didn’t fit the scene. SML actor did his job well, thoroughly convincing us he was an obsessed madman. Very handsome guy though. He caught my eye in “Forever and Ever” as the ML’s best friend who fell for Bai Lu’s character. This guy stay not getting the girl 🤣.
Did something else besides that cliff misunderstanding happen between FL and Jiaxue to cause their irreparable rift? She seemed to have fallen deep in love with him, from my observation. So, why wasn’t she able to forgive him when she learned the truth of the cliff incident? Something else bad must’ve happened. I feel the drama didn’t give enough details on that point. Otherwise, how did her hatred of him run so deep when she had loved him so much?
