The way he’s thoroughly fallen for her. The way he excitedly prepared for her to move in. The nervousness when cleaning her shoulder wound. That scene in the grass by the lake.

I believe the writing will address the cruelty of the mother blaming her son for the daughter’s death. It was addressed in the original, in “Go Ahead.” Actually, her ex tore into her a bit, but didn’t properly exactly say the words, “You are cruel and deranged.” I think we’ll get more scenes where she can understand what she is.

Your story makes the point perfectly as to why the main leads in “You Are Lover Friend” were so afraid to show their romantic feelings towards each others. They were terrified of losing their precious 10yr friendship, which is exactly what happened in your life. Honestly, though, I don’t know why that guy in your life would go to such lengths to be so close to you. Why would a man be “just friends” to that extent for so long? I don’t mean to badmouth your friend, but it was unkind of him to pay you such special attention if he had no intention of starting a relationship with you. He wanted the joys of attention from a female with none of the responsibility. He gave you false hope. He was wrong to do that. At least, he quit his nonsense when you expressed your feelings about him. That’s why I personally don’t believe men and women can be “just friends” if they are constantly texting and calling and spending time together.
