I am not feeling ZRN as YiFan at all. In the novel she is such a complex character, ZRN has like two expressions,…
Agree. This actress was not the right choice. I’m not moved by her at all so far. Bai Jing Ting is doing great though. His face is communicating volumes without even uttering a word. This is also the most handsome I’ve seen him. He’s believable as the Sang Yan described in the novel. The actress, however, doesn’t match the novel’s description at all.
Kangning (the 3rd sis and a twin herself) and Chai An had twins whom he called “The Chubbies.” Second sister and her silly husband had a daughter. I don’t remember the episodes. You don’t ever see the twins, but the last episode, you see second sister’s daughter.
“Marry My Husband” was really good. I rewatched several times last year. However, I didn’t enjoy her two…
You don’t need to school me on Park Min Young. She’s one of my absolute faves. I am well aware of her vast body of work and nearly 20 years in the biz. I only mentioned one of her recent dramas that I enjoyed because the previous commenter had said she made bad drama choices recently. I merely pointed out that her most recent one, Marry My Husband, was great. I wasn’t discrediting her other numerous popular works.
I’m on episode 25 and it’s so full of angst that it’s pure drudgery getting through the series. I keep wanting the sadness and troubles to end, but they just keep coming.
I’ve been waiting for PMY to land a role like this. She’s incredibly talented. Her recent script choices may…
“Marry My Husband” was really good. I rewatched several times last year. However, I didn’t enjoy her two dramas before that, the ones about the meteorological news station and the contract-marriage-for-hire one—both were really bad.
Looking at the comments, it seems it is Hao De/Shen Hui Zhao and Le Shan/Yang Xian. Personally, my fav couple…
Shouhua was so reserved that I couldn’t see any chemistry between them. He certainly wanted her, but she was not affectionate at all. She gave him that little peck on the forehead and that was it 😳😂. I kept thinking, “He’s going to get tired of her distance and reserve.”
Stop comparing modern ethic to ancient dramas. Like this one. It is quite dmb. Women in the past are literally…
Perhaps it is revisionist history, but the drama was a lot of fun nonetheless. Perhaps, however, women had clever means of surviving and maneuvering those harsh patriarchal times in ways that surpass our current understanding.
I am still obsessing about this drama and the 4th couple 😍 LIang Yong Qi told Ke Ying about his previous role…
Love this interview! 🥰They are so great together. So much warmth and personality, both of them. No wonder their chemistry was so good in the drama. I get the feeling we will see this pairing again in another drama one day.
Lots of twists and turns, angst and fun, romance, and family love. A delightful drama. The writing and pacing were a bit off at times, but overall a very enjoyable watch.
