Title Men in Love
Plot is a bit tiresome and childish, but not terrible. After all, male-chases-female-first is my absolute favorite genre. I fall asleep a lot though while watching; but, overall, it’s light and fluffy and pleasant. Hu Yi Tian is very, very appealing in this drama and that’s saying a lot because normally I find his acting bland and expressionless even though he’s extremely handsome. Here, however, he is OOZING charisma. Let’s just hope he keeps the momentum over the full 40 episodes. Decent start so far.

ML is masculine. I can’t stand the feminine, flower-boy look either, but this actor is not that despite his pretty face. He always brings good, sizzling chemistry and strong yang energy with his leading ladies—My Girl, Butterflied Lover, Provoke. He can be the tough guy when he needs to be. But, he’s good at being the tender guy too. I enjoy this actor. I always look forward to his new dramas.

That level of abandonment and betrayal can mess with your head. But, still, not everyone with a bad mom turns into a manipulative, coercive, scheming, thieving, kidnapping psychopath.
