Ok girls, for those who enjoyed the actor who played the complex villain “Wen Peng” in “Love Song in Winter,” he’s here playing the cheeky-brat mercenary leader. I actually like this guy though.

At episode 2. Very good—the pace, the story, keeps my attention. Quality. Substantive. Not too fluffy, but not too heavy either…yet. Good chemistry, but this is going to be a slowburn. Good acting. Interesting setting. Still have yet understand the real plot though. Is it just a simple love story or something more? Enjoying the journey to find out.

Yes, he was extra fine in AASOL. Oh, by the way, he also did some good kissing and had hot chemistry in “Your Sensibility, My Destiny.” I quite enjoyed that little drama, but it went under a lot of people’s radar.

A modern drama like you described would be awesome. 👏 It’s coming one day, I’m sure. There was a good kiss and a bit of hot chemistry (for half a second) in “First Love”. But, that was an annoying drama because of the annoying FL character. I think they got things sorted out in the end though. But, his swoonworthiness really shown through in that fluffy drama.

I don’t find it boring. But, I agree— no chemistry…yet. Hope that improves. It’s Wang Xing Yue, so I have every confidence that it will. Look forward to the other sisters’ romances and a reconciliation of our first lead couple.

Keep an open mind with “Oath of Love.” It won’t be what you expected at first. But it definitely gets better with each episode. Especially watch the epilogues. They are key to the story and hilarious.

Another good one with Wang Xing Yue is “Perfect Match” now on Netflix. It’s a new drama for 2025.
