Despite the challenges of this drama, the fear we have of trusting a new relationship or the sincerity of a prospective partner is well-depicted by the cold, extremely guarded ML’s (Dylan Wang) character. He was extreme, but, honestly, I could relate. The utter despair of the FL (Bai Lu) when she discerns that she’s damaged her relationship with the ML, seemingly beyond repair, is also well-depicted and quite relatable. Her cluelessness as to how to fix the relationship is both pitiable and heartbreaking. It’s actually quite easy in real life for mistakes or slips of the tongue to do deep damage without our truly understanding the impact until it’s too late.
Finally finished the series. Outstanding. Absolutely beautiful. Well-written. Well-acted. Thought-provoking. Universal themes relatable to every single culture regardless which part of the globe you’re from.
Guys, there’s going to be a third installment to the Strong Girl series. So excited! Hopefully, they get the third one right and give us Min Min and Bong Soon and the TWINS!
Episode 7–Soooo good. The ML/FL romance is building very nicely. So heart-fluttering and funny. She’s trying to fight it, but she really can’t. He is absolutely head-over-heels for her. I love it!
If this Nam Soon drama came out first, there wouldn’t have ever even been a sequel because people would have been too bored and uninterested from the first one.
She has been secluded from society for 15 years? Which obviously means she is naive and immature in some regards,…
I didn’t say “stupid.” I said “not very bright.” Naive and immature, as you put it, is indeed the very definition of being “not very bright.” Also, she figured out the ulterior motives of the devious agent who doesn’t want his company shares going to Singer Yoon, but she couldn’t put two-and-two together and discern the danger inherent in looking for Ki-Ho publicly or going to see his father alone? The character is written inconsistently, but the most consistent thing is that she’s not very bright. She seemed smarter as a teenager than she does now as an adult.
is this a romance drama...does it have any kiss scenes... because I am a romcom lover...so I am asking before…
A couple of innocent kisses, but no steamy kisses. The two romances were very sweet and endearing with great chemistry, but very G-rated. This drama was full of happy vibes, nice for the whole family even little kiddos.
