Zhang Ling He’s comic relief moments are pretty great. 😂He’s hilarious. Would love to see him in more comedic roles.

Kinda stunned by Miss Shangguan. 😮 Kinda cold-blooded. When did her feelings change for Ronghua? Honestly, I get it though. He’s not the best husband material per se, not very perceptive. Also, he supported his brother which was honorable, but also problematic. Still, he’s kind and gentle and pleasant. Didn’t see it coming for Miss Shangguan to be so decisive and practical in dismissing him. She’s breaking his heart. She should’ve never messed with him in the first place if she was just playing around. Mind you, I am only in the middle of ep 32. Si, don’t know how this will really go.

Mr. Lu’s mother is grandfather’s sister, so Han Ting’s great aunt. So, Mr. Lu, her son, should be Han Ting’s second cousin not “uncle,” right?

Maybe they don’t use the word cousin, like the way Yuan is called Han Ting’s “sister,” but she’s actually his first cousin. Her mother is his aunt.

This has gotten tiresome. So tired of the blind trust the emperor has in Consort Rou. He should be smarter than this. Also, the leads’ chemistry has waned for me. I’m not feeling it anymore.

I disliked the character in that role, but I was thoroughly impressed with his talent. So happy that Wang Xing Yue’s has career developed steadily since that standout performance.

Whereas, I was unimpressed with Zhang Ling He in LBFAD. Didn’t understand his appeal at all. It was only after SOKP that I became thoroughly smitten. He’s my favorite now.

He’s a sweetie, but too young and inexperienced. She’s too sophisticated for him.

Zhang Ling He’s ML character is increasingly becoming more impressive to me. Even though he was bringing the sexy and giving us heartfluttering moments, I still found PWX a bit bland. However, handling a strong woman like the Princess takes a strong man, thus his “simping” isn’t weakness at all. It takes more strength to remain patient, kind and loving with difficult personalities.

If you continue, more episodes reveal some of their problems and communication issues. Princess admitted she regularly criticized him needlessly, for instance. He said he wasn’t a good husband as well and that he didn’t make her feel secure in the marriage.
