Sweet, fluffy, pleasant, gentle, warm —so far. Not a slowburn. A nice Springtime romance (the flowers everywhere are beautiful). Nothing mind-blowingly awesome yet besides the great visuals. But, the tension will definitely build as he’s got Daddy issues and she’s struggling to break free from others’ expectations.

It felt like he was deliberately planting seeds of doubt in YiFan’s mind whilst making Sang Yan out to a schemer out for revenge. Such a creepy kid. When he tried to touch her neck, I wish she had told him to keep his hands to himself and never touch her ever. Glad she slapped his hand away, she still needed to educate him that his actions were highly inappropriate.

I don’t remember there being a second couple in the novel. I think the drama writers just added them for extra subplots.

The second lead couple is great. I’m enjoying their story.

This is now an 11/10 for me. Expectations thoroughly exceeded.

The vibe is warm, gentle, healing with touches of humor. Really good.
