Ep 12 - Sang Yan looked so good in that black suit jacket and crisp white shirt as he’s managing the bar. We also see him wearing a denim shirt later. This veering away from all-black attire must represent a veering away from his dark melancholy. He’s feeling the light and color come back into his soul as YiFan displays affection for him. He’s healing from her as she heals from him.

I only saw it today and had to share of course 😄. It’s wrong to be stingy.

Ryan Cheng was in “A Familiar Stranger”—(highly recommended) and also “My Journey to You”—even without any kiss scenes, he created some smoking hot chemistry with his leading lady.

Yes, you’re right about all three. I’m not that familiar with He Yu. I remember him in “My Fated Boy” (which was ok) and there was a drama about competitive shooting where he was good, but no memorable kisses. I feel like Zhang Linghe, Bai Jin Ting, Jing Boran would be my top three, with Ryan Cheng and Ryan Ding getting Honorable Mentions.

Yes, after Sang Yan came to Yihe University to check out Sang Zhi’s boyfriend and subsequently kicked Duan Jiaxu’s behind (remember the punches that got thrown), a few days later (in the next episode after the fight), he told them he had to get back home “because there’s a woman pursuing me at home.” He might’ve even said “She’s all over me.” (We now know she literally was all over him kissing and hugging him and whatnot while sleepwalking.) Neither believed Sang Yan and told him, “You don’t have a girlfriend.” Little did they know, Sang Yan was referring to YiFan.

We do!!!!!! It took a while for me to love it, but progressively the good acting, the story, the whole vibe of the drama, the lighting, the direction—all just drew me in gently. Ep 10 was the clincher for me.
