I like the way Bai Jing Ting conveys how thoroughly, deeply Sang Yan was affected when YiFan inexplicably changed the plan and went to Yihe University instead of the same university as he. He was hurt beyond words. The rug was yanked out from under him and he had no clue why. His lost first love has been a very difficult thing to move past. He plays it so cool and aloof and nonchalant, but is actually about to lose his sh*t over this girl. He’s so happy to have her back in his life, in his world, in his home right next to him.

Same. I followed it when there were many melons about who the leads would be. At one point, it was supposed to be Song Wei Long and a host of different FLs. So, when they landed on these leads that we have now, I was skeptical (mostly because of the FL because I knew Bai Jing Ting was going to nail it). Still not a fan of the FL, but the story itself is so compelling that I’m drawn in regardless. FL is growing on me. But, I read the novel and she doesn’t match the visuals described in the book. Bai Jing Ting’s glow-up in this drama stopped me in my tracks. He looks so good, emotes so well without even uttering a word, giving me all the feels .
