I like KDW's acting here though I have to admit his best acting was in Uprising. His acting in Maundy Thursday was also really good and full of depth. But his acting here is amazing as well. I don't like to exaggerate things but everytime he shows his concern to Mun Ju, I can feel his emotion, fear, and desperation just by looking at his eyes. His chemistry with JJH is one of the best in Kdramas for me, not because of the kiss scenes but purely because of their acting

Hmm Kang Dong Won is one of the most respected actors in the K entertainment industry. He is one of the chungmuro (A list actors in the K industry). So, I think to put him in the category of stiff actors is kinda not right when he still acts with those eyes while not having many dialogues as he's portrayed as someone mysterious and quiet. But, it's alright because everyone has their own opinions. It's kinda rare someone comments about KDW's acting because this drama is praised for the leads' acting and chemistry more than the story itself

I watched him back then in his breakout movie and I must say he looks so fine in this drama. I first watched him in Temptation of Wolves though it was an old movie and he's much older than me, but I was captivated by his charm in that movie. But, this drama takes his charm to a whole new level

I just hope she will make a decision on not to pursue the presidential route anymore since OMG how many assassination attempts she has experienced during this whole time. She also said to San Ho in ep 5 that she dreamt of a happy simple life with her child. And San Ho just wants to leave all his dark past in ep 1 which was why he did not want to take the job to protect Mun Ju initially. So, I just hope those 2 reasons implicitly will lead to the happy ending. Please writernim, not an open ending. I can't imagine if they choose the OE route in which they just smile to each other at the very end after separated

Not only their height matches so well (173cm and 186cm), but their gaze and vibes match very very well. I don't think it's easy to find actors and actresses who can have similar vibes when we see them on screen. Most of them have great chemistry, but only a few of them can have similar vibes. Not trying to exaggerate though, but this is the feeling I've had since the first ep aired 🫠

I can't believe I can be so obssessed over a drama. Jun Ji Hyun and Kang Dong Won OMG. Have been a Kdrama watcher since I was a junior high school, this pairing is one of the best ones I have ever seen

Seems like the rank on FlixPatrol climbed up to #3 yesterday globally. Is it true that the popularity and viewership on Disney+ of this drama has increased? Hope the best for this drama. Really love the leads' performance and chemistry

The action scenes in this drama are quite different than most of Kdramas I have ever watched. And I love them so much because they all seem so real and natural in reacting in those scenes. Not to forget the romantic scenes. While Kang Dong Won rarely did romantic movies/dramas for the past 20 years, but once he does, as a viewer, I can totally feel his emotion. And his chemistry with Jun Ji Hyun OMG fire. I smile a lot whenever they have romantic scenes. I just hope this epic drama will get all the success they deserve

And the duration is not even 1 hour long. Other Kdramas are usually 1 hour to 1 hour 20 minutes and even 1 hour 30 minutes. What a pity

Agree. From the get-go, the first time they announced this series and even before Kang Dong Won and Jun Ji Hyun accepted it, it was already branded as a romance drama. And even the trailer already gave quite lots of romantic scenes beside the complicated political aspects. So, the romance will absolutely be there and that's why they've been doing the marketing promotion hugely and emphasizing the romance part, especially since it's Kang Dong Won and Jun Ji Hyun that we're talking about. The 2 huge names in Korean entertainment. And when I watched the first 3 eps, I have to agree that yes, the policital aspect is cool, but the main attraction for me is the 2 leads. The acting of the 2 of them and the other supporting actors and actresses are very good. This drama is getting closer and closer to becoming the drama of the year for me in 2025

Oh, I just replayed that scene from ep 3 and just noticed it. Like the hint was not that obvious that it was because of her scent/soul/blood therefore he could not switch back to his child state. Glad that he stayed at his current state though kinda miss his strong persona as the masked hero

I feel like I have missed something. I'm on ep 4 (almost the end of ep 4). At the beginning, they still showed in Jin An child version and even made us believe that Prince Annan would be in his child state until the night began. But, in ep 4, seems like he can't transform into his child version again? Is it because he attacked that Hu Duo?

Though Zhu Yu is labeled as a Taoist priest, but he's also a demon hunter, right? Or not? He possesses excellent skill in capturing demons and he also despises demons

Out of curiosity, in which dynasty this drama is set? The introduction in ep 1 describes He Ru Fei is a Wei Dynasty general. Or is it set in a fictional time? So, is this set in the Wei and Jin time? The Double is set in the Song Dynasty while The Glory in the Ming Dynasty

Ah, I see. Thank you for the enlightenment. So in this drama, Qiao is also one of the kingdoms after the Eastern Han fell and the emperor is not shown because each kingdoms are busy conquering more areas? Because I'm kinda confused as it seems that Qiao is not that strong for a state but it's implicitly stated a state, just like Wei? But it's only called as Qiao Clan, not like Wei. They call Wei as Wei State. Or I think I've perceived it wrong
