The indications were him "ghosting" the friend. That was not his character at all, so I knew something bad happened. His entire purpose in this story was to be a catalyst for the FL to get together with the ML (as sad as that makes me).

We don't always need multiple episodes for people to stop overthinking things and move to where they want to be. She has liked the ML for a bit, but was purposefully not going with it due to her issues with her parents' marriage and also the perception of a relationship at work. The death of her friend's boyfriend was the catalyst that put a stop to all of that. She wasn't going to waste any more time and move forward. Being the decisive person she is, she did that.

It's hard to form an opinion right now since we are not sure what role she is bringing it up in. I have no issue with her bringing it up as a fellow employee/witness, since I have an issue with the policy. I have worked in the service industry in a variety of roles, and these kinds of people can easily push all the wrong buttons. Could she have handled it better? Maybe. Nothing was going to calm this guy down except breaking policy and giving him what he wanted (which can be a vicious cycle in its own). Also, everyone has their breaking point, and the Purser reached hers. I guess I am viewing this from my own personal lens of having to take being harassed and even sexually harassed because the "customer is always right." Sometimes you need to support your staff over a customer's treatment. I am genuinely interested in how they will resolve this issue and what their take on it will be.

I'm glad I'm not alone. I really enjoy the show, but I am getting a bit tired of her nastiness towards the ML now. I'm not saying that since he apologized she should just fall into his arms, but she doesn't have to be the level she is with him.

This show sure does entertain! I'm really enjoying it so far. The rating is a bit low, but that is the norm now with MDL. I think the review process seriously needs some reforms.

Um... they dare to because they own the rights to the photo. She was an employee of the airline when the photo was taken for promotional purposes (it was shown on a magazine cover in like the first episode). Things like this are usually in employment contracts.

It wasn't a literal statement. They aren't living separately, but they are not on the same path and (at this moment) want different things. They are physically together, but they are not acting as a team.

Parents, especially mothers, feel they are protecting their children by not letting them know. In this case, the servant was more than likely operating under her mother's direction.

Have both of your parent's died in quick succession to each other? Having one parent die is a lot to handle, let alone both (even if one is an absolute tool). I have lost both parents, and it is a lot to handle, let alone everything else she is having to deal with. Yes, she has changed, but it is hard to be a "badass" when dealing with all of that. So she is indeed being a bit naive in some respects, but she is also grieving. People grieve differently. I feel her reaction is real given the circumstances.

The mustache is simply for mourning his Mother-in-Law. As for the rest, I understand why he is doing it from his perspective. I'm not necessarily a fan of it, but I do understand him. The Yu's are putting extreme pressure and showing they will kill TY if necessary. He has little time to take them down, so he needs to act fast. I'm not saying he should do it quite the way he is going about it, but I can understand where he is coming from.

I think they have made it fairly clear that all the men in the Fu family are useless. The women are the ones with the brains.

Being married wouldn't change how they were after a separation. My husband was in the military, and after every deployment, we had to readjust to each other as we had both changed a bit each time. Being married doesn't really matter... it is the time, distance, and change that occurs with each person that does.

What a disappointment! It started out well and just got ridiculous in the end. The whole breakup was the dumbest piece of writing I've encountered in a while. Believe it or not, you can be in a relationship and still improve yourself and be apart. Even when you are married, you're not in each other's pocket 24/7. I went to grad school, studied abroad in Europe, and stayed married. My husband and I did calls and video calls.

I was all for her going to school, but breaking up and talking to literally everyone else but him for years was really a choice. Then they just got back together when she got back... are you for real? That is just plain bad writing. They had many options, but they chose the dumbest one. I also hated that they made him into some loser without her. I'm sorry, he became a director without her. I'm sure he could manage to work without needing her nearby. I'm still shaking my head.

I was annoyed by that, too. And his little smirk. But to be fair, we are only seeing a snippet, so it might not be exactly as it is in the trailer. I know *I* surely can't wait to see what's up (so the trailer was effective).
