Drama couldn't resist to make you cry last minute 😭 It was good. Very good.
Tell me about it! I thought I was safe, then BAM! This was such a great drama. πŸ₯°

May be dramatized a bit since it's a drama. But, both the genetic aspect and stress accelerating hair greying…
I really think they use the "instant grey" to convey strong emotion more than anything.

Though this drama has so many plot holes, it's still going strong and makes me to wait, butWhy do Mls hair turn…
His hair turning grey overnight is not a plot hole but a visual representation of his heightened emotional state. He mentioned a few episodes ago that he is greying prematurely, and stress can make it worse. I'd say he was super stressed about Ye Li.

watched ep.31, unbelievable how the thirst of power is above all, the young king dares to doubt MXY wanting to…
I'm glad someone else mentioned this. I was like, "Are you for real, kid?!" He was more than happy to use Mo Xiu Yao to get rid of the Marquis. Now we will see how his attitude changes as he gets closer to the actual power of the throne. πŸ˜‘

I got Express from WeTV so I can see the latest episodes. I think they are just one behind on Viki.

Episode 31After watching episode 30, I thought Mo Xiu Yao handled the situation better than I expected. He lost…
You summed this up quite well! I am disappointed in how they changed Mo Xiu Yao's character for a plot device to get them to Li Shan. Bai Lu and Cheng Lei were phenomenal!

bruh, scriptwriters.... that's not how grey hair works *facepalm
Actually, it is not that far off. When I was a kid, my hair turned a different color overnight. My mom kept staring at me the next day, and I couldn't take it. I looked at myself in the mirror and was a bit surprised. As for the grey, I also "suffer" from hereditary early grey/white hair. I started going grey at 18.

I think many people are misunderstanding the divorce, whether you like the divorce or not, its not due to fl's…
It is pretty much a plot device (rather dumb and out of character, IMO) to get them to Lishan and start resolving those issues.

This!! I felt so bad for Huaijin honestly. Most of the audience were so mean to him. I actually feel when some…
You make some really excellent points! I will say, for me, I have been frustrated with her for not coming clean with him about a few things, especially the edict. She should have been upfront with him about this because he probably would have taken it a bit better, especially before they got so close.

I do understand where he is coming from. I guess I have been more disappointed with how the story has been presented in the trailers (I am sure we are missing some things that may change opinions). He tells her he will always be there for her (which is huge since she has been abandoned by nearly everyone else in her life), and then he tells her to go. While I know he is hurting too, he is also aware that she is psychologically damaged. Also, the fact that he has had no one look into Lishan seems odd to me.

I don't hate him and can understand him. It just seems like the writers diverged a bit from what his character has been presented to this point, and that is kind of disappointing to see. Almost like they are just creating this extra drama so we will all need to buy boatloads of tissues. I am looking forward to seeing how they resolve it (he did seem caring for her in the Lishan scenes, which was good to see).

Can a teaser make me cry? Teaser for ep. 32 surely did.
It sure made me cry. I think I'm going to be just crying for days until we get express.

im about to start this, why the rating so low
The rating is rather accurate, IMO. It is an okay show. Light and fun to watch. It is, however, dated (rightfully so since it was filmed three years ago). Not every show has to be the best thing ever. I like it for what it is and enjoy it.

can someone explain to me why Zhou Wan can’t just come clean with Lu Xi Xiao and tell him the truth once and…
Because then there wouldn't be any artificial angst, and the story wouldn't be stretched out longer than it needs to be.

On episode 4. I am laughing so much with their bickering. LYF: Is this house cursed or something?QF: Well, now…
I love their banter! It is my joy at the end of the workday. I also don't get the low rating. It is genuinely a fun/engaging light show. I hope the rating doesn't deter people from watching.

Episode 19 Of course he still lives, it would be too good to be true for Prince Pathetic to be dead. I'm waiting…
First of all, love the "Prince Pathetic" moniker. πŸ˜‚ Secondly, also can't wait for them to work together. I really wish she would start opening up to him.

Zhang Haiqi is like the worst mentor ever. Not a fan of some of the plot devices right now, but hopefully there will be an improvement. I don't know how people can say this is boring, though... it is the direct opposite of that.

Nah - she is not playing him. As she told her mother, she sincerely is happy to be his good wife. But they BOTH…
This here. I was thinking the same... how does one bring up that your own family is the cause of his family's trauma? I am honestly a bit afraid of when he finds out. But I get why she hasn't said anything yet. My hope is they can work through it all and scheme together.

It really tests the efficacy of my blood pressure medication.

They haven't mentioned anything, but from Ye LI's reaction when her mother is brought up, I think this may be the case in the drama (with her mom), but I guess we will find out later.
