I am going to miss them like crazy especially after the variety show. Huhu ive been trying to watch other dramas but nothing compared. Just hearing the ost makes me want to rewatch. Do you guys have the list of songs and also the singer names in chinese characters and in pinyin/romanize. If you know a playlist that includes the bgm sounds also in spotify, wpuld be highly appreciated.

So far so good. Nothing new but done right so far. Has not bored me yet. I thought it would show more the business aspect and how a female can rise thru a male dominant world at that time, but it skipped thru it. :( i guess the episode restriction is the reason. The drama is 800 chapters.

Im just glad no issues about actors, directors happened from filming til now, hence this was aired successfully. Best xianxia in a long whileee. I am just amazed by the ost and cinematography. I kept repeating this but the ost including both songs and bgm are crazily apt for the characters and emotions needed for every scene! And it's not only for a few ost, all of them were beautiful. The cast was awesome. ZLY and LGX were already great during PA but they mproved so much. The rest of the cast were also great!

Did he get freed? Ep 38 kinda looked like an open ending for him, like he's still stuck on a loop.

Is this cast even for real? Can they afford that many top actresses? But that would be a dream come true lol

I'm so happy for ZLY. She's the first actress that pulled me in to cdrama. That was way back 2014 or 2015, i feel so old. 🤧 Ever since, I check out her series all the time. However, she has been doing movies which is impossible to watch internationally. Im also not a very big fan of mainstream dramas so I havent finished a lot of her recent ones. Im so glad to see her again on a drama and to see her doing so well. Plus she produced TLOSL!!

Im still in massive hangover from this drama. 🤧

I think OG poster wants to express how bailu has mostly paired with actors with newly gained popularity or is still on the way there. 2-3 years ago, if we are to compare the pairings made by other young actresses at the same level of popularity as bailu, others have paired more with top star MLs (let's just think of this as someone who can carry S+ dramas on their own)

LYX is popular especiallly now and admittedly a top star now (so sorry for the confusion on initial comment, but i was pertaining to their time at LIS) . Back during LIS, he is not as popular. He was still more popular than bailu though at that time but not to the extreme.  They have both became more popular before TTEOTM though.

WHD is popular too, but again during casting or around time of shooting (not sure of timeline)  bailu was considered more popular hence the billing went to her. At the time of airing, i also dont think WHD can be considered more popular than BL even with LBFAD (and vice versa).

BL is also considered more popular than ZLH and ARP. The only ones that I think that can be considered more popular than her during casting is LYX and Allen Ren. Zhang Ruo Yun too but that is for a mainstream drama. She has yet to pair with Yang Yang, Xiao Zhan, Cheng Yi, Bai Jingting, etc. I think during her way to the top, she has mostly pulled her own weight which is something fans are proud of.

Anyway, I think OG poster also just wants to express their desire to see her again with actors that are more established. But it it might be a bit difficult because production rarely cast top actors or actresses together because that is gonna be too expensive.

Popularity is subjective anyway and there is no established ranking of popularity in China so all of these are just observation of people. 🤷🏻🤷🏻

I can imagine how some people could think this is slow if they are watching this as the episodes came. Ill go crazy. Hahha so i tend to stuck up episodes per week and binge watch. The story telling have been amazing so far, and the pace is actually great. Slowburn but it suits the story and doesnt feel frustrating. The cinematigraphy and ost is amazing😍. There is nothing new for a xianxia but how the concepts were portrayed was well done. The concept of love was portrayed beautifully here. And finally, there is good communication with the leads. The characterization was amazing and they both feel mature that you will really admire and root for them. I hope the remaining episodes does not get butchered.

Im scared to comment this coz people might say im a hater lol. i really loved her in legend of yun xi, so i do try out any of her new dramas to give them a chance at least. I just cant help to notice the change in her face coz its distracting. idk if its makeup or if she had botox or something. its like the facial movement is somewhat off or different than before. Im too lazy to check any of her recent live to check if its just the makeup.
