I finally understood from my past xinxia that when these gods fall in love, they will be messing up each other so bad, betrayal but still crazily in love with each other cause that's how they cultivated through tribulations. A reincarantion and stab in the heart is just like a short breakup for couples lol. What's more, this is a heavenly god. People need to grasp this notion & will understand the characters better.

OMG! The plot is plotting and im sold. this is becominggg more interesting! BL strong character is what I've lived for.

i understand cause i felt the same haha. Maybe because they didnt gave background story as most xinxia plus this is original script instead of adaptation so viewers might be confused.

I think there's no romance in the first place (not yet); it's just that the FL is innocent and clueless and thought marrying him was the only choice(same like ashes of love, TMCB susu mortal chacrater), and ML thought she resembled someone she hated/loved, thus marrying her to unmask her.

Watched until 3rd ep & those who commented on heavenly lord and he looked like he didnt care must rarely watch Xiancia dramas and novels. Usual heavenly lords are not a great figure of a typical hero, they always act based on the "whole picture" of what is benefiting the whole realm, more prideful than an emperor itself, nonchalant, arrogant etc. Most importantly not human and most powerful deity so u cant expect he act like other typical god in xinxia. Even god of war as the typical hero in xinxia is not as powerful as heavely lord.
I guess the purpose of this drama is to see the character development of the ML and FL. This reminds me of Ashes of Love, eternal love tbh. Nowadays, not many drama productions like this.

Bai Lu drama rarely in netflix except TTEOM, maybe due to iqiyi, since Youku & Wetv dramas always premiere in Netflix. Im glad this air in netflix cause this will help BL Joseph popularity internationally!

The director itself sounds super promising!!! And the trailerrr??? It screams horror and mystery, and they look super good in this, especially Lulu. Im happy she took this project.

yes! Lulu for sure have this intensity as an actress (which i cant explain) that will bring soo much tears to viewers.

After watching the trailer, I've changed my mind with LCM. Damn, I kinda feel the chemistry even the trailer seems funny. Plus LCM kinda deliver the intensity of the tyrant king and is excited for the romance. it's gonna be intense & he'll be the obsessed love interest for sure, considering how the king is portrayed. I need a darker character atm.

Ill enjoy this drama a lot cause I anticipated since 2 years ago. Its just sad that people act like she been in MANY bad projects when she had A LOT of good projects but 1-2 might not be their taste. Anyway, im super excited for tears and trauma for the next 4-5 weeks.

I understand why people said that her character is the exact same because TTEM is one of the most impactful drama in this genre. But it was just TTEOM that had the same theme as this drama, lol. Her character in One and Only, Northward, SOKP, were different. Overall, I think she was tied with iQiyi using her to boost a new rising star like MM & she was pushed to do specific projects(from BL interviews it seems so) but BL is a super good actress, and people should stop discrediting her. I'm excited for this drama, and Joseph is super compatible with BL.
I hope BL gets more different genres for her future projects. BL also said the same: she wants to try different characters. Anyway, I'm excited for this premiere!

Im not sure about the drama setting but hopefully(praying so hard) that the setting, costumes and makeup will differ from most Bai Lu's past dramas.

Looking at her dramas, Bai Lu is one of the top drama actresses who has good projects in hand, and most of them are memorable.

Im gonna reserve from watching it at least 20 eps. How does the drama anticipation actually(rate etc)? Hope for a very successful premiere.

My gawd, im anticipating this drama since 2 years ago. I miss Bai Lu in good drama with good pairings and some good tears. MM doesnt satisfy me as x unleashed her potential since i felt like people are using her to popularise new actors esp Male actors tbh. BL deserves a good pairing & Joseplh seems promising!
