I enjoyed her role in Age of Youth. I ignored her past and tried to look forward to her future projects but then…
She never said that she was or wasn't actually..she left it to be interpreted..only to cry on shows when T-ARA was mentioned.
You feel bad for her..what about the other members like Jiyeon and Eunjung whose acting careers were affected as well..they were told TO DIE by knetz. I'm not even a T-Ara fan but I really feel bad for them..I really liked Jiyeon in Dream High 2 for ex.. and yet everyone feels sorry for Hwayoung??? Seriously?? That girl was finally exposed yet people turn a blind eye because she was young/immature..or they like her acting in this series..but she's no innocent snowflake. Both sisters seem to be quite rude.
I don't get all the hype..I find it really overrated.
And you feel the need to tell me that..why exaclty?! For the sake of the argument?! As I said before to another user..liking that series is your own problem..not mine..don't get me involved.
A classic..flop. I don't understand why this is considered a good series..
I don't get why people are so interested in proving me wrong/asking why I consider it a flop..it's my own opinion & taste... I don't have to agree with those around me..compared to a lit of other series this one didn't get my attention. Usually if an actor can't captivate with his "acting" he should make you go with the flow as you swoon over his looks. In this case Kim Myung Min's character felt flat and boring at times, the woman was annoying and JGS is a mediocre actor who I forgive every time because of his good looks. The conclusion is that I finished a series that I should've dropped after the 1st episodes..a series you consider good & try to convince me that was not a waste of my time. From my point of view..it was boring and the acting didn't capture even half of my interest..and that's an opinion I'm gonna continue to have about this one regardless of how many people come at me.
I have few question for those really understand the movie (or read the manga): 1) why Naho loves Kakeru? 2) why…
I haven't seen the movie, just saw the anime/ read the manga. I'm still hesitating about checking the movie though as live-actions usually disappoint me. I hope the story is the same in the movie because I'll base my answer on the anime/manga.
I also had the same questions as you..why all the sacrifice..I could understand Suwa as he has known and loved Naho for a long time but the rest is mystery.
An answer would be that it just progressed to that point but with the flash-backs I understood that they had their own problems/lives and they were living their lives just fine without him..he actually made it worse for them for appearing it their lives and dying. They should have never got involved with him in the 1st place.
1. I don't get the reason either as he's rather passive at the start. I get it that he has scars and he's reserved but she randomly fell in love with him. I don't feel that he was worthy of it..he just got it without much effort. In an unfair way I would say.
I also got annoyed with the new girl and it got frustrating by the minute their incapability to just say how they felt..how it dragged. That's typical shoujo stuff.
2. I though that they all went with the flow and somehow included him in the group because of Naho but never got the attachment. They liked him, that's true..but they did all they did because of Naho . They could've cared less if she wasn't suffering. You got to admit though that if they cared more..they wouldn't have left him alone in the 1st place..
3. Because he loved Naho and he wants to make her happy..even if that means to give up his own life. Talk about a true hero..
4. Nothing really..he starts as an awkward guy and he develops into a lover for Naho but he has nothing special about him.
5. I don't find this one plausible as well. I get the triangle but he barely got involved with the other guys..they're the ones getting involved trying to save him..so yeah..Where's the love? I also find it unfair..towards Suwa mostly..that guy sacrificed his own happiness/ future..what did Kakeru sacrifice ? He gave his life..but that was a selfish decision caused by depression, guilt and not reaching for help.
OK, where to start..I liked this series. At times it felt raw and plausible but it also had some moments of stubbornness…
As far as I saw it, it was more platonic than anything..I just saw the family part of it, but no sparkle..he just played/wanted to play the father role more than anything and the end hints that she might reconsider the 1st lead again/ still has feelings for him..it's an open ending..as she goes with both men and the child.
Don't worry about it..because I saw a lot of series..I'm adding comments to them so I know after some time passes if I should rewatch or not. In some cases some bad series..became ~watchable~ the 2nd time. I feel like I'm spamming a lot of pages :)))
As fun I expected to be, as grand the disappointment.
The main actors were popular at the times and the chemistry was def there..but that was the only good point about it.
