Maybe I should stay away from “classics”. I’m usually quite open minded when it comes to old series, but this one was a bit too much for me. Her character is quite exhausting..she was so loud and all over the place that I was happy that it had only 24 episodes, and even those felt like forever. I don’t think there’s any point to check out the 2nd season. I’ve had enough.

I do love the adding of the alternate/ bonus ending although the quality is lacking. I don’t understand why it wasn’t included in the cut version. They did say that they are connected on three lives so they should’ve shown the 3rd one..1st being his “life” as Gu Xiaowu

I will probably skip this one as the synopsis bothers me a bit. Seems like it will be different from the original story. Too bad, I actually like the main actor.

This series should be described as “frustrating female lead and though guy who’s good at everything except choosing his right partner”.

I would say to skip the hell outta this one if you’re not into goody two shoes female leads. She was so stupid, she had no excuse for it.

I thought it was good at first but as the episodes went on so was the silliness. Such a disappointment.

I might have an unpopular opinion but I didn’t get the hype of this one. It was rather over the top and silly.

Damn it. I hate Jiang Wu. Ah Da was one of my favourite characters. Li Chen Lan just do your demon shit and kill that bastard!!!

Wei Young, Fu Yao, Eternal Love (10 miles one, the other one is a bit silly at times but I still half-liked it), Nirvana in fire (not my cup of tea but a lot of people liked it), Ashes of Love, Bloody Romance, Siege in Fog (everyone either loves or hates this one), Hong Il Dong (but careful with this one, don’t get too attached to anyone in it), Lan Ling (if the girl doesn’t annoy you). There are many more good ones out there but I didn’t manage to watch everything I deemed interesting yet so this was all that I could remember.

Quite cheesy..Nothing much happens and while I like them in their gaming attire and the lead looks really good..I felt like it was a waste of time to watch it.

Nothing from that list unfortunately. Compared to other years 2019 didn't offer a good mix of series..or at least not enough to make me satisfied.

Her Private Life - was somehow fun but similar to Secretary Kim, so I lost interest fast about it.
He is Psychometric - was quite a disappointment to me as I was looking forward to it.
WWW - is quite hyped but I'm not yet tempted.

Other than that I have some series I want to check out like: Romance is a Bonus Book, The Legends, Good Bye My Princess, Heavenly Sword and Dragon Slaying Sabre, I Will Never Let You Go, Le Coup de Foudre, Legend of the Phoenix, Listening Snow Tower or My Absolute Boyfriend.

At this point I chose some randomly just because they're wuxia. Hopefully there will be more interesting ones to come. There's not much choice and it's the middle of summer already..By now there should've been at least one to be top of the list in preferences or at least one memorable enough for the male leads.

2018 had series like Ashes of love, Bloody Romance, Legend of Fu Yao, Meteor Garden China, Siege in Fog, The Beauty Inside, Todome no Kiss, Untouchable Lovers, What's Wrong With Secretary Kim ,The Story of Ming Lan etc..

Maybe I'm picky as well but still..

I don’t get why everyone wants Touba Yu with her. .The guy wanted to let her get violated to make his plan work. Sure he saved her a few times after that but he is what he is. Quite cruel and will hurt anyone in his away to get the throne or Wei Young. While I like the actor and think he did a great job portraying him, I cannot love his character as well. He’s truly despicable. Same as Chang Ru.

After rewatching this series now, I feel it lost its glam for me. I’m just seeing details I didn’t pay attention to and my feelings towards Jin Mi changed. Even before, the people who made it interesting were the two male leads and I felt that Jin Mi was a bit naive towards self-hurting and quite selfish but now I just find her stupid and annoying. How disappointing to love such a person..but I guess your heart just does it..

If you haven’t by now, read the novel, the story is much much better. I came to watch it after reading the novel and I’m quite disappointed in the series.

After so many years, I've finally managed to find and finish this series.

I’m with you on this one. Had it on hold since it aired as I couldn’t go past the first episodes. I guess at the end of the day it’s a matter of taste.

This series was so ridiculous and addictive that it can’t even be described.

I finally finished this series after so many years on hold. It’s not a bad one and it was quite popular at that time it’s just that if you compare it with the new school series that came after it, it lacks at the acting and filming department. I would recommend it for people who are fans of either Maki or the boys.
