I really think this is a cute series but after the 10th episode, I started skipping scenes..a bit when she had to do her voice actress job, some with her mother as she annoyed me, other ones with her school mate...mostly filler bits that didn’t really affect the story line or could do without.

By the end I was more invested in Tang Li’s character than our main couple. They say that you realise what you have lost when that person leaves you..He had many chances to be with her yet he took her for granted, thinking she’ll always be by his side. If the second guy didn’t come, he wouldn’t have even bothered to try to contact her after all that time. He didn’t deserve her love but it’s not like you can choose who to love, it just happens. I’m happy that in the end she gave the foreigner a chance. She went for a safe relationship, where you feel loved..she needed someone that would treat her like a princess.

Rather than to be stuck in a toxic relationship where you are always going to be insecure and depressed, even if you still love each other, it’s better to cut it from the roots and start anew with a person who appreciates and treats you good. And I’m saying this from experience. Life is too short, don’t die with regrets. People don’t change, or if they do, it’s not going to last long until they will return to their old selves. Be selfish and love yourself!

I heard/ read that expression quite often in Chinese. Someone who “eats vinegar” is a jealous person. So she just asked if he was jealous. Nothing naughty unfortunately...

Not even close to what I was expecting..It was hyped so much and it had potential..but that was it, at the end it was just a bubble.

It’s just sad in a way as both MLs did a pretty decent job but the whole story was a joke. I couldn’t even take the emotional scenes properly as everything was lacking proper feelings. I understand that it’s supposed to be mostly comedy but if it’s a sad scene, make me cry, feel sad, something. I even skipped a bit in the middle because it was boring.

Absolutely a waste of time. Not even Deng Lun can save it. Tried my best not to drop it so I fast-forwarded some scenes..

Yep, the one and only..I have liked many anime characters over the years but he remains even to this day one of my favorites..

Also, I’ve checked your page and saw that you’re into BL. While I am not, I have still started watching The Untamed which was recommended to me by some friends. When you have time, check it out. Only 5 episodes in and I am hooked..at this point I don’t even care if it’s BL, I seriously wanna watch it until the end.

Thank you for the trailer!!! I’ve just seen the first episode right after and it’s not that bad. She’s really funny and cute, burn mark or not. I don’t understand Chinese so I’ll probably have to rewatch it later with subtitles, but I did pretty much get the gist of it.

I couldn’t find the trailer, only some stills from the series and you were right. In some of them she has a mark on her face.
My guess is that it gets treated / hidden in later episodes as it appears only in a few pictures.

I really like Ariel Lin, I have seen a lot of her series, but she can‘t act for shit. Over the years in some series I managed to get over it as I liked either the MLs she was working with or the plot. What I cannot understand is why after so many years, she’s still at the same level..

I will skip this. Just rewatched Lan Ling a few weeks ago and remembered how cringy and exaggerated she was in her emotions..Wouldn’t want to go through it again so soon.

Ugly maid??? She seems cute though in that photo. As it’s comedy I might just check it out.

Thank you for your comment. Saw the trailer and really liked Su Fu’s character but now that I know that he’s not the good guy, I will avoid this series. I don’t want to suffer a second lead syndrome..

What exactly did you like about it? I might have some series to recommend if you explain it clearly to me..starting as enemies, strong FL lead/cold ML, comedy, hot kisses, etc..

Really not what I expected. I’m a fan of school series and cliches are not something that would normally stop me watching. I would rarely loose interest yet after 5 episodes in, I felt already tired and no actor or character was good enough to make it worth it.

I thought their high school life was cute in the first episodes but not much was happening after & I’ve had enough by the time they moved to university. Too bad as it had potential.

I absolutely love the OSTs of this series. Like I haven’t found in a while so many good songs. Also the series was really cute. I’m a fan of fluffy romance and school life, slice of life series. This is a must see when you want a drama marathon yet you aren’t prepared for a too complex/ dark storyline. Watched all episodes in one weekend.

He’s seriously cute. I will make sure to check his works from now on.

Some people are just fans of the story. There’s nothing wrong in wanting to see a remake especially if the original is quite old. You want better quality, better actors, technology..

Same cast as Eternal Love. It seems it doesn’t follow the original story as the synopsis is different from the Taiwanese one. The only thing is that I’m not fond of the casting..
