The scene with beans halmeoni covering her head with plastic bag from the rain ached my heart sm i cant stop thinking about it. The scripts are also really well written. Every dialogue feels way too real and hits right in the heart

Up to 8 eps so far its indeed sad but also deeply emotional. Most of all, the life lessons given are really incredible its life changing. It doesnt shy away from real life struggles, but also carries a sense of warmth and resilience. We witness how the characters navigate sorrow, loss and sacrifice, and despite the weight they bear, they somehow just keep and keep on moving forward, just as human nature intends. Its really not that heavy though, so i’d still recommend you to just go ahead and have a good cry!

With me I’ve acknowledged her since moon lovers era and had hoped she’d be casted with lead roles ahead looking at how talented and adorable she is (i hysterically cried when her character died in the drama LMAO) and when i learned she was the FL in The Secret Life of My Secretary, that was when i became a big fan of her. Her sparks conveyed more in that drama. Ever since i finished TSLOMS i looked forward in her upcoming dramas and she came back even stronger in From Now On Showtime and My Perfect Stranger. If you’re on your way to the climax of MPS, please prepare yourself for the grand finale plot twist bcs i REALLY enjoyed it and loved how it worth the time waiting for the final reveal omg. And btw ive yet to check Uncle Samsik as well though it has our queen in it so you’re defo not alone bcs i feel like i wont be looking forward to watch it 😅 Some said it was too heavy and i haven’t really found myself to be a fan of political series. Jin Ki Joo’s character in it was also said to be such a letdown bcs it wasn’t executed and delivered well in 2nd half of the drama. However im so happy she finally made another comeback in this drama with such a lovable and appealing character which im really fond of. Considering how you’re also into light-like dramas with a bit of mystery in it (such as twinkling watermelon), i suggest you should really try her other dramas; From Now On Showtime and The Secret Life of My Secretary. Those arent time travel kdramas, but FNOST might stick the closest to your preference bcs it has romantic comedy with a mix of horror, mystery and past life connection that offers a tense atmosphere. Also, if you’re also into crime-thriller movies like Door Lock, Unlocked or Target, you might find her movie “Midnight” enjoyable. She portrayed a non-verbal character who becomes the target of a serial killer. Her acting in it was so insanely impressive!

Finally found a mate who’s also obsessed with queen Ki Joo like omg she’s so adorable with those sparkling eyes and high pitched voice its literally impossible to insist 😭 and btw im so in love your taste after seeing your list i think our preferences in kdramas are alike!! you even rated hotel del luna a 10 which i seldom find like gurll thats my fav kdrama of all time wow😭

Less than a month left before airing and disney+ hasnt really put a lot of effort into marketing and social media promotion of this drama. Tbh i only knew the MAIN TRAILER already came out because eun bin posted it on her ig. And when i went to youtube and view it, only disney+ korea has posted the trailer and there wasnt even an eng sub available yet. I hope they’d be a little more hyped up in promoting their kdrama contents like netflix does bcs afterall this is a kdrama that features two really veteran actors in it and unless you actively keep an eye on disney+ korea official social media channels, its less likely you’d be able to provide yourself the most up to date information about this drama :,D

Instead of a single 60-70 minute episode, they divide it into two 30-35 minute parts on TV, often to put a short break in between and accommodate ad placements. Some streaming platforms however usually would just combined it into a full episode as one

I feel so bad for Jin Ki Joo. She’s already underrated and every time she stars in a drama she always receives hate :< she’s such a versatile and good actress and unlike in global range, she’s quite appreciated and well embraced in south korea
