Also, there's no way of saying Ying Yuan would be able to protect her against the supreme majesty and ying de in front of everyone since he's still hiding his real feelings.
Who else was peacefully listening to this song and then suddenly your brain tells you that that their love would still never bloom in the divine realm

During that moment, Yan dan "knew" she will only die a lonely death during her incoming punishment at the Heavenly Gallows.
After all, she's already so weak since
• she has lost half of her Stem to the stupid pillar,
• lost one Petal after burning it for Ying Yuan,
• lost most of her Power of the lotus after she manifested it into the meridians of Bei Ming to reduce his pain while on death bed,
• cut her Heart into half for Ying yuan and,
• already experienced 9 lightning strikes for her sister in the Heavenly Gallows once.
And all these reasons, was what immediately made her want to straightforwardly ask the question " No matter the location, have I ever entered your heart? ". She wasn't being immature. She just wanted someone to acknowledge her sacrifices. And feel that someone especially the love of her life still cares for her. Since her own sister and own family already betrayed her. But Ying Yuan shattered her dreams and hope of living with his reply.
All these pain. And Ying yuan did not know them during this time. He also failed to realize that she would immediately die if she'd go and get a punishment at the heavenly gallows aka lightning strikes. Even if this torture wasn't a love punishment aka ice hammers, she'd still suffer.
And even if she didn't ask; even if she accepted the pain and the unrequited love, it would all be useless since she will still die at the heavenly gallows after.
Then if she died, she wouldn't even be able to see that he just transfered her belongings back to Xuan Xin Cliff, that he also made her a disciple of Marshal Hou de, and that Ying Yuan truly loved her. And “2nd What If” Yan Dan also has another past life. Remember the time during Yan Dan’s play? The actor said, “We finally found hope!” as they lifted the Four Leaf Lotus seed(Yan Dan and Zhi Xi) from the pile of dead bodies. It could mean Yan Dan may have joined the Genesis war , split her body, and died there, “If” she had a past life.
Together with Cheng Yi and YangZi’s amazing performances, We were able to clearly see that their Love is so pure and deep. Even many blue butterflies broke out of their cocoon and flew around both of them as they walked in the cold Night Forgetting River.
That scene was so meaningful , its no question that as we saw them meet and separate again in the same place, everyone also felt being drowned in intense sorrow just like Ying Yuan and Yan Dan. ( ༎ຶ⌑༎ຶ )
This is exactly what happened to you, to us watchers and, fans alike. Immortal Samsara made us feel and peak inside the beauty, pain, sacrifice and even the sadness of unfulfilled love. We were then subjected to an enormous amount of feelings that we cant entirely describe into words. And in the end, we were left to choose between not getting swayed or choose to be entirely addicted to this feeling.
At last, we stopped bottling these feelings. We stayed. And poured all our sentiments, decided to share them, searched for fellow addicts of this kind of love, and just let all of this emotions out —all at once. Finally, we’re at peace.
And while waiting, since we’re still not sure about what the future episodes will give us, lets together savour the little sweetness they had left.
And instead of thinking about their pain —let us just hope that in the future, there would only remain their happy memories with each other the moment they meet again.

Immortal Samsara gave us a full course meal in one plate. We were given the mix of sweet appetizers, a sour main course, bitter drinks, and even spicy sauces(the kisses lol). But in this plate, each meal and flavor stands out and none is ever bland! Truly worth the wait and time!

Its better to find motivation to start enjoying the drama and decide for yourself. Afterall, there are all kinds of opinions— all precious and important.

Right at the bat! Stories may have some similarities with one another but the essence and uniquness of a plot can never be copied if done well. And that's what Immortal samsara did. It exceeded expectations. We, the watchers always appreciate efforts and beauty wholeheartedly- especially the writers & actors who continue giving us spectacular performances for free.
Nomatter the number of similarities made, as long as watchers try to capture and see for themselves the difference in beauty, It will always be a fun ride being a viewer!
