H4 was pretty bad with the Stepbrother situation... Some parts should have been left out if they wanted to make…
I agree! honestly, i do think showing that it doesn't have to be the older party with the power/toxicity would have been pretty cool. like to push back on that stereotype. or making the statement that stepbrothers with bo blood relation are valid in their feelings.
my problem is that they romanticize all that disgusting behavior. I started to skip their story at some point, but as far as I know, the little brother never even apologized/understood how problematic his behavior was.
and that is what my main problem is. that stuff isnt romantic, it is mental!🥴
Frr, they did their best but the directkr n direction mainly ruined it, i read novel n i t was not like this romance…
THIS! i can't say i "read" the novel because the translation was really bad lmao but I was also under the impression that the story in the novel was actually really good!
I definitely blame the director for this grrr
isn't that guy known for ruining interesting novels? :(
I just finished this.... and i love JD to death, but i am SO DISSAPOINTEDðŸ˜
Honestly i thought, the acting was solid. Dunk really fits a calmer character like Kamin. But the police work is so inacurate it makes me want to throw my laptop out of the window. They lowkey do EVERYTHING the police shouldn't do💀 I am completely fine with a show being unrealistic, but this strayed way too far from reality. With way too many plotholes to ignore.
the excessive flirting paired with the missing progress in the case, partly made it uncomfortable for me to watch... It just didn't fit together. Like I wanted to love the characters of Jade and Kamin, but if three kids die and the next scene the main leads are flirting and all unserious, it just doesn't give off a good impression...
This is not a story about a robbery or something on that level, its a SERIAL KILLER bruhhh Like why weren't the kids put under 24/h surveillance?? Why was the police not organized at all? and how did Jay even end up in the house in ep 10??
ALSO: I, as a weak mortal, am just as obsessed with Joong as the next person, but WHY is Jade in various states of undress EVERY episode?!??? "Oh something really bad happened? Let me just undress in the POLICE PRECINCT infront of my SUPERVISOR and take a SHOWER." Even a body and face like Joongs could not stop the secondhand embarassment i felt everytime that happenedðŸ˜ðŸ˜
and what is with the music? The viewers understand when a scene is romantic, no need to pump up some overly romantic/seductive music. It just makes the scene seem ridiculous, when it isnt supposed to.
My conclusion is: the acting is great, Dunk has improved immensly and chemistry is wonderful as always. But the story changes, directing and editing, made this show really dissapointing in the end😔
i'm at ep 10 and i really enjoy this series in the messiest way, but seriously... if Mew doesnt trust Top anymore, fine, but just dont give him a second chance then. That whole Boeing x Mew side plot is just as bad as what Top did, and it is way to petty and low for Mews character, imo...
i find the critic of the athletes being to loud a little weird. I loved seeing them support and encourage each other. I felt very represented by them lol (but screaming techniques and tactics should have been forbidden!)
Well, the next one can only get better? hahah

Seemed like Phojai loved his brother more than his boyfriend :c
