The plot and villain was very average but oh my gosh fell in love with Sabrina Chen again, her looks were outstanding and so was Prince Yan. Ending was a sweet touch too.
Lu Yu Xiao is just so beautiful and such a great actress, I was waiting for her have such a role after My Journey to You where she was so captivating (but drama ends on major cliffhangers).
First saw Quan Yi Lun in Echoes of Self where he was gorgeous and a good guy so interesting to see him play grey here. Hope he gets more ML roles, he is very charismatic and looks good in all historical styles and hair. Also his MDL picture does not capture him well.
A little dissapointed at how small Zuo Ye's guest role is, he does sad pretty boy so well in all the drams he is in.
The writer and directors took a phenomenal cast (and budgest?) and wasted it on gore, no characterization or redeeming qualities of any main actors, and ofc making one of the villains "gay" through uneeded sex scene. If it had been a story of a bunch of cops in over their heads against the prisoners who have been prepared\setup the game it would have been good. Instead it was a mess of trying to tie in a bunch of sci fi and other things. Also Seo In Guk stole the show and I still don't get how JDY gets so many lead roles, he is just okay at best.
Are you confused and thinking of the director Kim Ji Hoon or Ju Ji Hoon who was drug scandal (among rapists, woman abusers and murderers, I take the drug scandals as ridiculous and overdone)
I can't believe they keep casting her as secondary, "chubby" female roles when she is so beautiful and gorgeous. Really loved seeing in her Rise of Ning, and look forward to more roles.
I dropped the Korean version because it felt like the FL was too pathetic and ML underwhelming and then picked this one up which was much stronger for the first 8 episodes. Episodes 9 and 10 though it came off the rails. The only drama that seems to do this stort in a satisfying way for me is Perfect Marriage Revenge.
The three female leads were fabulous. Suzy looked good whether as glamarous or as dirty mechanic, Ahn Eun Jin is so so pretty and such a great actress and had intense chemistry with the angel Ellajel, Lee Joo Young has been rocking it here an in Aema as the bi-queen looking so hot. Steve Noh is very attractive here and very masculine and great screen presence. Song Hye Ko's cameo was gorgeous and so beautiful.
Woo Bin was a lost cause and it was partially the script but partially just his acting. He was somewhere between acting like the genie in Aladdin (the Disney movie) so childish and unappealing and when he did well it was the serious moments.
The second to last episode was great and had me cry but it kept going after that! Suzy at the end was (purposefully?) cringe and funny.
It is a 17 year age difference but the actors looks even older and has so many scandals in the past. They couldn't find a better male lead? It is disgusting and revolting and puke worthy. I don't need to be polite about an actor who has a known bad history and still gets chance as lead because of misogyny.
Saw her in Aema and Genie, Make a Wish and she is so pretty but seriously giving off major queer vibes with the short hair/masc look and so attractive. Like my heart was fluttering in some of those scenes.
I did find ML familiar but couldn't remember which drama I've seen him. Just realised he was the 3rd ML in SoKP.…
He was in fake scandal (look up white paper) and they try to ruin his career. I agree he really is ML material, he stood out in SoKP and here he is so much fun.
Korean media and fans and antis really need a tough lesson on just not being aholes. If she is dating it is not a scandal, it is a normal human thing. Let people live, they don't owe you their bodies and lives because you liked their show or music. You don't own her, ffs.

Echoes of Self is the other one with ML and FL being strikingly gorgeous.
