And the politics is just several older Korean movies mashed together, nothing new or interesting just poor CGI and boring subplots that have to be skipped.

Oh I agree with you, the North Korean scenes don't add emotional depth or resonance. They also use some of the worst CGI possible to de age the actors. If the goal is to show that S. Korea misused its agents or that the life of an agent is terrible because the nation doesn't let you go, well we didn't need that many scenes to do that. I love the leads and the trio and the over the top action and comedy. We don't need all the boring subplots.
Exactly, the North Korean plot (and excess backstory), along with the poorly done AI is dragging the show. The best is the three friends teaming up to fight villains and be funny.

Seems like you can't separate the actor and being the kind of crazy fan from a normal person watching and objectively judging dramas. Song Weilong is gorgeous but cannot act and that is his downfall.
Dropped it. The prince and the trio from Gallou were interesting and stole scenes. They should have more screen time. I am tired of Song Weilong being a beautiful face but lacks acting ability. His poor actintlg and the terrible characterization of ML just made me lose all interest. The Veil of Shadows a much better drama than this.

Kim Da Mi is a phenomenal actor, absolutely mesmerizing. And the little boy as well.
A decent movie based on a common sci fi plot but executed beautifully. I could watch anything Kim Da Mi was in but this was sad and lovely and a commentary on what makes us human.
