What a stellar cast

Yes, My Journey to You is where I first saw him play this cold\sad\neutral role. It was great there but now its a bit boring. FoF he was a tragic minor character, the drama had so many great side characters. I do think a main complex grey villain role would work well for him. How Dare You, I couldn't get into past the first two episodes so maybe I have to try that one again.

So the title and promos should really be changed, it should be titled "I Loved the Moon and the Moon Didn't Know." The whole female general part was poorly done. Yet, I kept watching because Zhou Ye is phenomenal, really a young actress to watch for. I have been watching all her dramas now. The starting of the drama until about episode 24 was watchable but then it became slow and draggy with court politics and blah blah we've seen these subplots (avenging family member against injustice, etc) so many times its boring. Chemistry between leads was great. Cheng Lei looks good but doesn't always show range (he has played this character many times). I'd love to see him in a gray or complex villainesque role. A few scenes of the drama really carried the entire show.

Such a stunning beauty, and so so graceful, hope she gets a FL role soon!

Is the widow going to remain a villain? She seems almost pitiable and being driven crazy by all the chastity and widowhood evil norms of the time.

Was not sure about this but the scenes of the girls helping each other out instead of being catty just made me so invested.

TLDR. It's funny you need someone to argue with and I was in the mood for it, But now it's so boring. I hope whoever you date is as appealing to you as this actor is to me.

Yeah, I was responding to a guy who's comment history shows him making judgemental comments to actresses. Now before his crazy fans like you (writer of long ass posts, so I didn't get far into your comment history, you should write a book) jumped in showing they are pathetic, telling me to share my pic so they can harass me, etc, I would have just avoided his dramas. My initial comment was quite mild. Now I'll make sure to comment on any posts or dramas he does about his lack of physical presence to be on screen with beautiful more worthy actors and actresses.

No one watches dramas for reality and its already sad enough to see beautiful women with ugly men in real life, no need to replicate it on screen. GJY is leagues above him. If visuals didn't matter that poster wouldn't have Jang Hyuk one of the handomest men in Korean screen as their pfp and that's fine, we all like pretty people, it's just crazy to argue that looks don't matter when they objectively in life do and always will unless humans change as a species. They do matter especially for women on screen, and for men they should matter just as much. What's fair for one is fair for the other.

I dropped this drama and then came back for that "moon" scene, its really well done.

So you have to suspend your disbelief that this is a gender bender, or that she is capable of half the physical like actions she's attributed. Then it's really good.

I did speak for myself, you seem to try to speak for everyone or think you disagreeing with me hold some form of universal merit. If we are going by the popular opinion then it seems like the Korean audience thinks you are wrong because they are the ones harrassing the actor as ugly and unsuitable for a male lead, the harrassment which I didn't condone. There are also objective metrics of beauty so to say the actor is handsome is objectively incorrect. To pair a frog with a swan is a travesty to the eyes and injustice to the actress (or actor, I believe the same for subpar actresses).

Saying all that when you have Jang Hyuk as your profile pic is a CHOICE. What does it say about you?

I am a viewer and audience member and yes we want beautiful people on screen and if I want to watch Beauty and Beast I will seek it out. I think he looked fine with the older actress in the recent drama she is a bit average. But Go Young Jung is a real beauty. Pairing a swan with a frog is a huge turn off.

He is not good looking and neither are some others but instead of hating him, I just don't watch him as a male lead. There is something jarring with putting him next to someone like GJ who is gorgeous. Just don't watch his dramas and that will resolve the problem rather than harass him.

Never mind, dropped it again at episode 10. Dislike the ML (character not actor, actor is great) playing a similar role to the last drama with this FL where he was the villain but somehow this one he is the ML. Too many plots and schemes and boring ML.

Restarted this after finding the first episode a little dull and similar to FL's previous drama but I like her enough to give it another chance. Feel like SML and FL make a good couple already and don't like ML as he just seems too idk older\lack of something.
