Every time I see her in a secondary role, I think, "She should be a main lead!" Absolutely beautiful and needs to have more main roles instead of the vampy or tiny guest roles.
I'm still in Ep13, and I only find him a womanizer lol. π
It was like Beauty is Taming the Beast and it was such an interesting storyline because she even says what is real and what is fake and we don't know except that the ending was so sad.
I've just finished. A good drama overall even if I'm a bit conflicted because I found that some parts of the drama…
At the last 10 episodes I began to skip over his scenes because it was too outrageous and I really really really hate AMNESIA plots esp for the second time. I don't really care for the ML, think he was just okay compared to others doing similar genres who really brought out emotions and depth. The pacing seems off for the last ten episodes as well and it felt like the most interesting story became the Princess one.
"In this life, I once loved someone, but he's dead to me now. Then I met someone who loved me, and now he's…
I started off liking her, then thinking she was a naive and annoying idiot, then thinking she was awesome to feeling so sorry for her. She had the best arc in the last ten episodes.
UGH I had to skip so much at the end, basically only focused on the Princess and crazy emperor storyline bc main couple story became so stupid in the last 10 episodes.
A long time ago I saw my first kdrama Sunkywunkwan Scandal and fell for him as SML (and then began my SML syndrome lol). He was so good at acting, has such a magnetic aura, would love to see him in more roles!!
LOVE seeing Yoo Ah In again on screen, he steals the scenes he is in. The actress who played Wan Seo was decent but this is the nth time she plays kind of a loser and does not look it at all (unlike the wind guy). Overall, the movie was kind of cliche with some of the fight scenes (esp villain fight) to be boring and repetitive. I think more of the team working together with their unique skills may have made sense. Love the cast, story was below average a hodge podge of like x-men and other stuff put together poorly.
The author is controversial in writing. She worte an article with the headline 'As KTL costars, will TF surpass…
I think we are in agreement, I am criticizing the writer or author for being biased in their writing of the ratings and trying to make things seem on way or the other by messing with the description of the SAME numbers so differently.
Guys are u still watching kdramas π am on Chinese dramas nowNote: Actually my comment isn't a hate comment…
I still like both Kdramas and Cdramas. I think Kdramas often have innovative or different storylines, shorter so less filler and excellent casting OR they have the same old tired tropes done to death and tank a potentially great cast and storyline with it.
Cdramas are more consistent (rarely is there anything particularly new unless you think of genre such as xianxia which no on else does), they go through fads so right now it is the "rebirth to get revenge" storylines until they jump onto the next thing that will get 20+ dramas produced. Cdramas also do historical setting so beautifully, just wish they were less tropes. Sometimes they could use fewer episodes to tighten the storylines.
I think most dissapointing is I started watching Jdramas and those have fallen to the wayside, I rarely see or hear about them and they seem less interesting - I wonder if I am missing something? Anime and manga has such innovative storylines but not the dramas?
I love (SARCASTIC) how whoever writes this can't help showing so much bias. If it is a drama\drama actor they like then they don't mention how 1% is low but if they don't like it then suddenly they mention "lowest in it's time of 6%." So the drama airing at 6% is actually 5 percent higher than the other drama you mentioned, ratings of 1-2%, so positively?
At this rate a chart with the drama name, actors, platform or network, the ratings in total (or across episodes) percentage and less biased writing would be more clear,
I think he should move away from romance roles. I don't think he is that popular any more
It seems like he did plastic surgery because he also no longer looks the same and has a weird plasticky look that is unappealing. He left SHK to raise a family so maybe he should focus on family now.
π π πOMG I have noticed this with some kdramas and cdramas too where the MLs lips are too pink or red, like more lipstick lip gloss than the female lead. I generally find dramatic makeup for FLs in "normal" non glamarous scenes to be annoying and here the men are being dolled up too much even more than FL. Subtle, natural makeup and looks best unless it is like a glamour scene.
Won Bin is truly mesmerizing, I mean his eyes alone speak volumes. Seeing Kim Sae Ron as a child actor, she is so excellent here but it also felt really tragic to see this movie and think about all the people and forces that forced her to commit suicide.
That said the movie, which I have heard so much praise of, is a bit overrated. It is a great action flick in the genre of cold killer with a tragic past is moved by {sad person, child or animal} to go on a killing/revenge spree. Villains (save Mr. Bandage) are so cartoonish. It is perhaps the beginning or rebirth of the genre (John Wick came out a few years later). Still a good watch for the actors alone rather than the story.
Started off well, I like the FL already and was surprised at the ML being decent too (although tbh the FL and the actor playing her brother had better chemistry. The evil friend looks a lot like Prim (Thai actress from F4 Thailand: Boys Before Flowers) but her character was awful though and kind of not the most redeemable. Not sure why the FL's brother was into her and promised to stand by her even though she was a terrible human being.
The bad things about the drama start when she goes to college and all the AI car/etc stuff is both boring and really unrealistic. You have these dolled up girls in a physics/computer science lab is just very unrealistic. They should have really separated out that (or show more geeky girls then basically models). The story became boring and stretched out and then I had to skip all the insane parts and everyone else mentioned the batshit terrible ending. Just pretending it stopped at episode 18 basically.
