TWISTS WERE GOOD, BUT I COULDN'T FULLY CONNECT

Before anything, this review is just my personal opinion. I know many people might have different thoughts about this drama, and that's totally okay. I just wanted to share my honest experience watching it.

The concept itself is really interesting, ambitious, and it had a lot of potential. But honestly, I didn't really connect with the characters. I'm not sure if it's because of the acting, the dialogue, or how the scenes were executed, but something felt lacking. I couldn't fully feel their emotions or get attached to their stories, even the political plot was solid.

The twists, though, were good. I keep watching because they kept surprising me, and I was sold. The drama isn't fast paced but stay engaging, mostly because of the eye candy main leads.

Episode 7 was when the drama really started to get more interesting. From there until the finale, the story became more intense. One thing that bothered me, though, was the English dialogue. Aside from the actor who played Anderson Miller, most of the English lines sounded awkward and unnatural.

The ending also left me a bit unsatisfied. Some characters, like Jang Jun Sang, didn't get enough explanation. I guess it's meant to be an open ending for him, but it felt incomplete.

I also have to give appreciation to the production and cast. The drama looks expensive and well made, from the sets to the cinematography, everything feels polished and realistic. The casts presence really elevated the story, even in the slower parts. Overall, Tempest is an interesting political drama with good twists, solid production, and talented leads.
