Title Big Man
I was expecting something good due to its great cast. I'm glad that I didn't get disappointed watching the first two episodes. I'm looking forward for the next. This would probably be one of the best dramas this year. Kang Ji Hwan is a really good actor.

I found interesting the plot and I was really pleased to see that for once the female heroin in the story wasn't completely a fictional 'Candy' character (even if sometimes felt like that)but more close to a real person, with her positive side and good intentions but at the same time with weaknesses and mistakes as any human being has. I liked the fact that the evil characters they also had their little heart and reasons to behave like that, making things difficult for people around them. I think is original the way the writer compares Alice in Wonderland's tale with the way people live their lives, half way dreaming in a better world and half way aware of the harsh reality.

You are so funny, Luna. My first drama was also BOF and I got addicted to Korean dramas.Even if I watched Japnese, Chinese and Taiwanese, I agree with you, nothing else better than Korean dramas and flower boys...they are soooo cutteee! Anyway, If you want to watch a Taiwanese one I can recommend a couple of them that make me laugh. My first Taiwanese drama was 'The devil beside you' starring Mike He and Rainie Yang in a romantic comedy. The other one is 'Skip Beat' with Choi Si Won from Super Junior in the main lead role. Skip Beat is based in the anime and manga with the same name, is really funny. Actress Ivy Chen is marvellous in her acting. I could see myself rolling for the floor while watching her interpretation. You must watch it!

I haven't watched 'Dr. Jin', but I love Jaejoong in dramas, so I'm happy to see that he got an award. The one that I did watched was 'Queen of Ambition' and I really liked that drama very much. Sangwoo made a good job with his double role as the twins. The character of Ha Ryoo was intensely interpreted with a very realistic performance that made you cry everytime that Da-Hae dumped and tried to hurt him. I think Seoul Drama Awards is a well-done event that help to promote TV series not only in South Korea, but also in other countries. I was there in the previous edition 2012! I think they should bring more spectators from outside Korea to participate of the Awards Ceremony. I really enjoyed of the show. I was so lucky to see in live CNBlue and the actor Park Yoochun that made the public get wilde everytime he went up the stage. He was so shy, so cute! The best part of the night, when the cameras focused where I was sat and I saw myself in the Korean big screen, lol!!!

I started first watching Japanese dramas because I like anime and I have to agree completely with you: once I watched a Korean one, I just forgot about the Japanese and I started to be addicted to Korean dramas. Although doesn't mean that I haven't watched Japanese anymore, but now I'm more selective. However, after to change my preferences to Korean dramas, I decided to try with Taiwanese and Chinese and I've also found many good dramas from those countries. Referring to the kisses, I vote for Korean dramas because as there are more number of dramas from Korea, is logic that they win in amount, although not always in quality or realism. I'd like to mention the good contribution that Mike He has done to upgrade the position of Taiwan in this matter (he is a good actor and a perfect kisser!) This is my personal opinion, so I hope anybody get upset for what I said. I think your article talk from a point of view that many drama fans share, included myself.

I totally agree with you. There is nothing bad about the liking for young idols. The only problem come from negative opinions of a close-minded society who discriminate women. Why men are 'allowed' to like girls much younger than they and women are pointed as perverts for that? Women who are in their thirties or more, of course they fancy flower boys who are cute and sexy and make them feel younger!

I can't figure out the real story behind all this long process, but something I'm sure about is the fact that the outcome was due a lack of evidences to prove the culpability of any of the implicated. In my opinion, the whole thing being exposed to the press and having the public opinion as judges, didn't made any good for any of the parts. Furthermore, whatever would be the intention in the beginning, it has turned out as a bad image and a worst experience for both of them. These sort of serious charges should be remain restricted to the knowledge of the implicated to avoid further repercusion in future.

Well, I understand that about the unfashionable look of tracksuits in Rooftop Prince, but we have to take in account the other extreme trend of dressing as an idol, even when the characters they represent are supposedly ordinary people. What I want to mean is that wearing tracksuits is more credible (as something that anyone can see at the neighborhood on Sunday morning) than to do the shopping during weekdays with black eyeliner on and a stunning designed jacket with fur included! I would recommend to the writers to fit the characters looks more to what real people would wear at such situations and not to find any available chance in the drama to display a catwalk of the latest trends among artists and idols.

I think the plot is interesting and the casting is good. It's a shame that the final outcome is lacking so much. I have a hint why it's like this: it's a movie that pretend to cover many things at once. You don't know in what genre to classify it, comedy ,thriller, romance... Sometimes, directors want to make something original and away from clichés mixing many different themes in the same movie. There are cases with amazing results as in the movie "From Dusk Till Dawn" and other like here where ends in deception. If from the beginning would have focused in one style like comedy or thriller probably the result would be better. Anyway, It's still enjoyable for fans of Jae Joong.

I started to watch this drama when I saw the cast for the main roles. Song Hye Kyo is one of the actresses who really bring alive the characters that she plays. I loved her acting in Full House and I'm really impressed with her performing in this new drama. I think her character is so complex and interesting that it catch your attention to the extreme that you can't stop wondering what it will happen next. On top of that the main male role plays by Jo In Sung is also amazing and complete the right scenario for a good melodramatic plot with a lot of tension that keep your eyes widely open for not to miss any detail. I enjoyed seeing that evil side of Jo In Sung that he plays perfectly as he did before in the drama What happened in Bali. I hope the following episodes continue in the same direction with a good ending. And I mean, not for the drama to have a happy or sad outcome but more in the line to tie up well the story with a logical and coherent development of its characters.

I was like you, a bit reluctant to start watching ongoing dramas because the waiting. But how to resist? This new year 2013 has started with many interesting and exciting dramas! I normally don't like to watch dramas that still airing because if they don't hook my attention enough, I just end giving up completely and sometimes I feel that I might be left behind a good one. Anyway, I'm sure that a few of them that I've started recently will worth my waiting. I'm talking about this one mentioned above and others such as 'Incarnation of Money' or 'Queen of ambition'. I also liked the plot of 'A hundred Year's Inheritance' but it scare me the fact that it has 50 episodes. I think it has to be very good for me to keep waiting patiently for next episode every week. At last, for something more light and less dramatic and not such much action I bet for the cute romantic drama 'Flower Boy Next Door' (it maybe because Shi Yoon keep saying all the time that he wants to return to Spain and I'm Spanish? hahaha!!!Oppa, ???? ?! I'll be waiting for you!)

I would suggest also another drama for this list, 'White Christmas' .Even if not exactly a horror drama but a psychological thriller, I would say. The plot is sometimes predictible, but then there is a new twist that keep you tense in your chair wondering what will happens next. It has only 4 episodes and to give you an idea of what is about: a group of teenagers - good looking guys!- enclosed in a school in the middle of the montain without possibility of going out because the snow...and a succession of misterious events start to grow the jealousy, hate and other bad feelings between them til unimaginable limits.

Right now I'm in a huge drama dry spell. I've tried many of the suggestions in the article as well as the comments…
Why don't you try to search for a drama starring any of your favourites actors/actresses? It worked for me before. If you like the acting (or just the looks) of any famous, you might enjoy watching anything of his/her work even if for instance it's not your usual genre or favourite plot.
I normally prefer to watch romantic dramas and I was curious about this one because the poster is very attractive with all those cute faces. I wasn't interested in the plot that I thought it would be another high school story with a murder. I'm glad that I decided to give it a try. From the first episode I knew I wouldn't be dissapointed. The story is more complicate that it likes at the begining and has many twists and surprises. Even if sometimes it seems obvious you never are certain what will happens next. I liked the acting, the diversity of characters and their roles well fixed in amusing stories that describe the personality of each individual as their interactions with the group.

Title Lucky Seven
I only watched 3 episodes till now but I knew I won't be dissapointed. Matsumoto Jun and Eita are the best of Japanese actors nowdays and any project they take become a sure hit. Each episode tells a different story and shows gradually the interaction between the members of a detective agency. It has plenty of funny sequences and good action shots.

Person Jung Il Woo
I really like this actor. Jung Il Woo did a great interpretation in 49 days. I love his seductive scenes in Flower Boy Ramyun Shop. I fainted with his handsome period look in The Return of Iljimae, and I would wish that he was the lead actor in The Moon that Embraces the Sun.
