exactly, this was shown in the drama but I don't know why those who complained about her never saw it

you're not alone on this one because I understand her too and that question as well! ^^

I think the people who kept saying negative stuff about her character did a lot of skipping, I know that scene was obvious enough, it baffles me how others still fail to comprehend her character.

Recently I have been noticing how there must be some type of agenda that occurs on daily basis. I think many users have already explained about Wen Yi Fan's character, even the novel readers spoke up about how she is but I don't get the constant negativity and dislike towards her character that some have and the most common reason is because she either hasn't reciprocated Sang Yan's love or is not seeing his love. Why are people so impatient these days. The next episodes will definitely show more of her feelings for him but they did hint episode ago how she does have feelings for him.

ikr no actual novel reader would comment such a thing, like it wouldn't make sense at all to think this way of her character if they really read the novel so it really shows haha they're in for brownie points

totally agree with you, i think they could have build the second couple without the need to add another angsty story for them, it does build them up but yeah it is not exciting

I knew Bai Jing Ting was a good kisser since I watched almost all of his dramas before and this is my first drama of Zhang Ruo Nan so I am satisfied to see she is also matching his level in that kiss

I loved it too when he said that! their dating era will be the best but you should look forward to the Wen Yi Fan's chasing Sang Yan era because this was also one of the best parts in the novel

This is still a great drama for me but the only complain I have as of the moment is support character's more like Su Hao An's grandparents taking up too much screen time these episodes. At first I was fine with it because I did enjoy the second couple too and thought they would wrap up the issue with the grandparents sooner but I didn't like how they ended up dragging it instead, I thought it was not needed at all since this wasn't even included in the novel.

the grandpa was adorable but i think they shouldnt spend too much time on their story too it would be nice to wrap it up quickly
