Can someone explain to me clearly why Lishan Academy closed their doors and why the Empress sent soldiers to "protect" it?

I love this so far! I also like the actors Kim Mu Yeol who plays the teacher and especially Lee Sung Min who plays the Minister!!

I'm really pissed off that he took blame for the hit and run. So disappointing.

Ep 11 was like, "Let's condense 16 episodes into 12 and put it all in Ep 11!"

The soldiers' expressions to his sister was a bit much. I mean she just seems like a simple, homely young lady. Geez.

They don't explain who Lim was but they obv didn't like him. I'm assuming he died or something happened to him and as soon as he was gone, she lost her backing and they punished her by sending her to that base. Yeah that guy waiting for her obviously doesn't like her. I'm not liking how she's not being shown any respect at all. I like how truthful she is.

I know it's just a drama but I don't like the idea of the monarchy being abolished. Why not just separate themselves from the state/cabinet like other real modern day monarchies? I find it disappointing that a drama/webnovel would abolish a "modern-day" Korean Monarchy in the end. It's ironic that Japan had a hand in abolishing the Joseon monarchy and yet Japan still has their own real monarchy until this day so I'm surprised that the story is taking this route. Yes, it's a drama but modern day monarchy actually benefits and brings so much money to their country. Abolishing it makes no sense.

I posted this as a reply to another comment but I wanted to post this as my own opinion. I'm enjoying it so far amd it took awhile to adjust. I think there is an underlying msg to this drama. I never read the manhwa but they say several times that he's suffers from depression and gaming addiction. So it's like his brain is rewiring itself to cope and the tasks are showing up like a game and leveling up. I thought the food reactions were hilariious because the food was so bad that it was like worst than military drills or akin to being in a war. The gaming aspect might be hard for some to understand. Like any VR, or gaming manhwas or webtoons, this is light compared to Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint or Solo Leveling. This is nothing like Bon Appetit or Mr. Queen where both characters have time traveled or in Mr. Queen, soul possession. But if you look at this from a sci-fi fantasy genre, and from the basis of his depression and gaming addiction, and death of his father, it makes sense. It's giving him a sense of purpose and a way to cope and a way to find healing through cooking.

The secretary character set up so cliché. I mean she's so obviously younger and seems almost pathetic. I'm not a fan of her character at all. He helps her out, shows her respect and draws boundaries and she keep throwing her panties at him.

Exactly right?!.No ring cameras!! Hahaha! Seriously, like just leave it all burnt down if you can get the rebuild right the first time around. Like the Majesty died. And in the preview, Hui Ju goes rushing in to save him. I'm rolling my eyes so far back. But yeah whateva.

Did they explain how she got a hold of the contract? Did I miss something? And do you think I-An end up becoming the Majesty instead?
