I dropped during the skiing arc. It was so predictable and boring. Felt like I was seeing the same repetitive storyline. I felt the ML was always posing like a model. I find that CDramas are doing this a lot. They have the ML always with these "chiseled" looks but they're too frigid and stiff to do some "real" emotional acting with their facial features. Anyways, it started boring me so I dropped it. I'm not a fan also of boss and subordinate storylines.

I watched the first episode when it first came out and dropped it. But I just saw a post about it so I came to read the reviews and laughed when I read yours! I can't believe the amount of stabbings that Chinese dramas portray and then the leads miraculously survive them. Like even with today's technology, we'd be like, "Yeah, he dead dead. Save the medicine for someone else." 🤣 I just watched Fated Hearts and omg, the amount of stabbings and arrow damage everyone survived was ridiculous. Cdramas are getting way too carried away with these stabbings.

I'm on EP 12 but the Princess and the Empress are so ridiculous and the sword light on the eyes is so repetitive. Lol! 👀.🗡

It totally agree with all of this and sometimes i feel like they're just putting him in dramas for his looks. It's like he's doing more modeling than acting. I mean, his eyeliner has game though! Lol! Those soldering glares! 😂 I dropped the Princess Royal near the end because I couldn't take how much screen time the SML was getting. It was ridiculous. And I'm still scratching my head at Qianqian's timeline and storyline amd how the baddie got rid of his disfigured facial burns. It's like the last 10 episodes are so rushed and smushed together.

I don't understand this writer. Intimate scenes when it's a toxic relationship or someone is drunk or drugged. Can't we just have a normal sober intimate scene. Was it written this way in the novel as well?

To kind of kick him out of the clan and for him marry Fan Changyu as the uncle knows who her father is. And for coming back without an Imperial summon. I think that's the gist of it.

Her being a transmigrator is so out of place for this whole storyline. Like maybe they wanted to write a spin off of her story. So weird.

I've asked for clarification tooooo!!! Her backstory is so confusing!

She's allowed to have an opinion about the scene and what she thinks of it. Not like she's personally involved with the actor. I haven't seen it yet but I can't wait!

So when she saved him from drowning, was she leaving to go somewhere or escaping? Is that when they first met? Or she was his concubine and then she saved him and then escaped?

Can someone explain and clarify for me exactly who is Bao'er's father? Qianqian was the concubine of the original emperor? What happened to the original emperor? I'm so confused now. I'm so sick of these intimate scenes between her and psycho. Why do they romantize them so much?

The music they play whenever Marquis of Wu'an walks in or shows up... I can't even...😂😭🤣

I'm the same with both Kdramas or Cdramas. I'm finding that kdramas have gone down a lot in storylines. But that's just my opinion. I can't stand any drama where the FL is dumb or a doormat with no backbone or with a childish voice. So cringe and I sometimes find it disrespectful to women in general. Sometimes I drop a drama halfway and then depending on the reviews, I might pick it back up again or be glad that I dropped it. I find that Cdramas are mostly good in the beginning too but then the plot gets overwhelming or lost and then it's rushing to finish.

I know, I hate drunken kisses especially when women are drunk. I don't mind the cliché drunk scene where the woman is drunk and is about to kiss but then just falls on his shoulder or the guy pulls her away knowing she's drunk. But we finally get a good kiss scene and Changyu is drunk. I think it would've been better had she been sober.

Yeah, this. Seems like since Ep 29 everything is rushed and chopped together. We're definitely getting a condensed version of storylines.

I agree. She's like the FL and the rest are supporting characters at this point. I also dislike the way she's just doing whatever she wants and how the Pig Slaughter Squad disrespects YZ as the Marquis. Even though they view him as Fan's husband, he's still Marquis of Wu'an and should be treated with more respect.

I still don't know why Man Di survived in the one episode only to die in the next.

I'm glad we got two episodes but the story felt rushed and editing choppy. I was surprised to see the scholar there all of sudden interviewing Yu Qian. At this point I feel like Commander Li and Yan Zheng are there to look "pretty" because their battle scenes are limited compared to Fan Changyu's. Not that I'm complaining though! 😍
