I think they are related. I was assuming that Duan Wu is the long lost sister of Yan Zi Jing. Or they're definitely related, like cousins or something and he was refering to her as a sister who wasn't born yet. That's my assumption. Wasn't it already revealed that Duan Wu's mom's real identity was part of the Yan family?
You know I watched the Chinese version and it pissed me off then and is now , I hate all the emotional manipulation…
Yes, Sohui is a piece of work too. I don't think the writers are writing her behavior realistic enough considering the loss of her father. Children do grieve as well but you don't really see that anything has changed with her. Does she even know her father passed? Anyways, it's so hard to watch every time Sanha has to deal with his mom and now is Uncle. The kid supposed to be getting ready for uni and now he's burdened with all these problems.
I was a bit disappointed in Baek Jong Won when I watched EP21. When Fabri and Matthew Seok were revealed as guest helpers, Jong Won threw shade saying, "What they have in common is that they don't speak Korean well." That came out of nowhere. Meanwhile, both Fabri and Matthew speak 3 different languages. Fabri (from Italy), speaks Italian, English and Korean and Matthew (from Canada), speaks English, Korean and a bit of French. People need to be more understanding when someone can't fluently speak their native language. They're obviously fluent in another language. Learning to speak another language can be very challenging.
I love the fact that there's a lot of bulk cooking because Baek Jong Won makes all these large dishes and it's still flavourful. That's not really easy to do. It's also very interesting when a dish or ingredient gets screwed up and he has to fix it. It's so interesting to watch everyone try to get everything done in time too! I find this way better than the first season!
While it's hard to tell someone you barely know, you have DID, still if that person is getting affected by you,…
I find it really ironic that Ju Yeon would be so accepting of her DID especially given the fact that his mother is suffering from mental issues as well and wanting him to be his brother who died. Did they say what his mother's conditions was? Dementia or Alzheimer's?
I wished they gave us titles when Hye Ri's personality comes out. Like in the first earlier scenes with SML, Kang Ju Yeon. I wasn't sure if it was completely Eun Ho or parts of Hye Ri. It would make it more easier to follow and interesting to know if and when Eun Ho is lying to Kang Ju Yeon.
I love this series! The comedy is so well written and reminds me of the movie, "Extreme Job". The wedding scene was so hilarious! I loved when Tansik introduced himself as her boyfriend, saying he was a lot younger than her, a lot. And those guys with the plates and cart of food? So funny!! I loved the way the captain had his own way of making Minseo feel so much better using his deductive methods! We need more of this!
watched ep 5 and am so lost on their relationship, also missed hye ri :( the therapist or psychologist is grossly…
I dunno, I find tbe psychologist pretty good and actually typical. (My niece is a psychologist and she thought it was reasonably realistic enough for dramaland. She doesn't specialized with DID patients though.) Back to the drama though... the doctor was dealing with Hye Ri most of the time, that even the receptionist called her Hye Ri. Then when Ju Eun Ho asked about Hye Ri, the doctor told her what she wanted to know. It seems too that the doctor also just discovered about Hye Ri being Eun Ho's sister. She let Eun Ho take the lead in learrning about her other personality and when she was ready learn about Hye Ri.. I think that's pretty typical for psychologists. They first treat other personalities like different individuals and it seems like she was dealing mostly with Hye Ri during sessions. It's really about Eun Ho coming to terms about her diagnosis and I'm sure later we'll see how the healing process starts.
I feel like this show has a disconnect to the dynamics of a real relationship. The two leads have been together for 8 years and for all that time, she never knew or understood his situation with the grandmas? And all that time, she still expected him to want to get married. I mean, he told her early in the relationship and throughout the 8 years she just never accepted it? I just don't think the writers are portraying the dynamics of a long term relationship realistically enough to convince the audience.
What a lacklustre ending. The tofu challenge should've been the final challenge and I don't think that the Napoli chef would've survived that round. I knew that Chef Edward wasn't going to win solely because Koreans don't see him as being a "full" Korean especially since he's not fluent. I never knew who Chef Edward was but his dishes were inspiring and so creative. It's disappointing that he lost.
What the... Two whole episodes without Hye Ri? I want more of her and JY.
Right? The preview of Ep6 (at rhe end of Ep5) was showing these two meeting up again and then that exact same scene in mere seconds that was in the preview. What was the point?
So Ju Eun Ho got the second parking to fulfill her sister's dream. I'm curious to find out at what point or what triggered Hye Ri to completely take over? The timeline is a bit confusing because she obviously took the parking job three years ago so that was already a year after her break up. I wish Ju Eun Ho tells the SML soon about HyeRi and maybe he'll fall in love with Ju Eun Ho too. But obviously the ML will be end game. On another note, how could a woman be in a relationship for 8 years and not know that he would never want to get married? She probably just thought he would change his mind eventually but she still should've known better. The fault lies with both of them wasting time. I also didn’t like the way Ju Eun Ho wasn't more guarded with him suddenly being around. She was too happily playing house and the way she panicked when she thought he left when she woke up, wasn't a good sign either.
I just started watching this after binge watching S2 and I came here looking for this comment. He's so annoying.…
Din Din was in the recent Ep 18 of S2. He wasn't bad nor was he great either. Still had that competitive streak and egotistical trait who wanted praise. Bo Hyun wasn't in that episode due to another drama.he was shooting so his absence was definitely noticed!
