I"m really not a fan of the SFL. I don't know why, but I just can't like her. I've seen her in other dramas but remembered her mostly in "Remarriage & Desires". I really enjoyed disliking her in that one!😜 I don't like either that Yeon Woo's kinda lying to So Jin with the telepathy game. I feel like So Jin is so immature with all this DNA and telepathy talk. It so shallow.
I was so excited waiting for the Super Junior's Leeteuk and Shindong's cameo and I wished they appeared on camera more. I thought Shindong's stunned expression at Yeon Woo's bad singing was so good!!
There's a couple of things that surprise me with writing; they're really pushing for marriage and children by promoting incentives in the workplace and the FL lead isn't portrayed like a "virgin" or celibate. I find the latter refreshing that she at least wants to be "satisfied" in bed. The marriage and kids thing is probably trying to encourage exactly that especially for South Koreans. Also, I'm one who is not too fond of age gaps but at least they look close in age. Shin Min Ha looks amazing! I agree with the other poster that while sometimes Kim Young Dae never seems right with his FL, I really like these two together!!
I loved the wedding outfit shopping scene because usually the bride comes out and she's gorgeous but this time...🤣💀😂. That "Gone With the Wind Dress" just needed to be GONE!! Hahaha! And then the reverse happened with the groom who came out looking like a stunner and left everyone breathless and speechless!!
So now what's going on with the jersey and gene matching? First we thought it was Yeon U that had the cheater gene because of the jersey and then it was implied that it was Gang Hun's jersey but now who really has the healer gene? Also, it doesn't make sense that Yeon U isn't saying anything to So Jin that it's not his jersey...
I'm sorry but I hate when Kdramas write scenes with family fights in such a public place especially in a restaurant setting. So weird how Kdramas are so picky about intimate scenes but airing out your dirty laundry in such a public place is so normalized and glorified.
Her friend Gang hun's (the firefighter). But i agree confusing especially since she went gaga over his scent.…
Exactly! So she liked Kang Hoon's scent all along? They've been friends for a long time so wouldn't she have already known his "scent"? Also, I really Kang Hoon's character. Kinda' sucks that the writers gave him the "cheater" gene.
Ji Sang is the absolute worst. He has an affair with his wife's secretary and even gets wedding photos with Sa Ra, staying at her house for dinner, and then demanding a divorce from his wife. But then later, after trying to clean up his living situation to get custody of his daughter, turns around and gaslights Sa Ra , telling her that he has no intention of remarrying or living with her and then breaks up witb her. I mean Sa Ra is bad but Ji Sang is the worst!!
So did she quit her job or was she let go? Also, was I the only one crying when she was talking to her mom asking her just to see her as her daughter and also when the mom realized and was crying by herself?ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
Can kdramas stop normalizing violence against women? The FL's ex chews her out but when she talks back, he attempts to slap her but Kang Hoon steps in. Why is it even okay for a man to slap a woman just because she talks back at him after he talks down to her? Also, stop making women who are being dumped by jerks be so pitiful. Can they have some dignity or self-pride left? The writers also need to navigate between when to use humor and drama. Some issues aren't melding well and it's making the storyline sloppy.
I feel like this part might only be relatable to someone who's been known as an 'ideal daughter.' In the 5-minute…
I can see that being a generational thing of course but it's the same ol' trope of controling parents in kdramas. The FL touches on a little bit about mental illness but the focus right now is on how ashamed and angry her parents are rather than focusing on her wellbeing and homecoming. I mean, it takes a lot of courage to quit a job and even more heartbreaking to call off an engagement and then come home after being away so long. I'm hoping too, that this changes later.
I found it weird how she had him turn around to shield her as she just had to take the layers of jackets she was wearing. You'd think she was getting naked. Also, I agree with others about the mom. Like just communicate with your daughter and support her no matter what. She's old enough to make and deal with her own mistakes. She talks about suffering from burn out and the guy leaves her to get beaten by her mother. I mean I like the banter between the two leads but I'm kinda tired of these Kdramas having crappy parents. Most of the time, the "awesome" parents in kdramas end up passing away or something! 🤣
The scene with the ex of FL abd her was unnecessary, it was weird, he wanted to humiliate her, but i think he…
I totally agree. Why did she just take that from him? I hate it when writers make a FL humiliated by a man and in front of her coworkers too. It would've been satisfying if she yelled back at him that she broke up witb him because his mom cuts his nails, just to embarrass him back. And her co-workers didnt rush to help her? The only purpose of that scene was for the FL lead to be rescued by the SML. Other than that, she was still humiliated.
Dae Ung: "Yes. Tell him if you want to die." 🤣😂💀
