Title Queen of Tears Spoiler
If she would be misdiagnosed that would be such lame plot twist
The drama Crazy Love did that really well so we'll see. But she's a heiress so I can't see the doctor making that same mistake.

Title Queen of Tears Spoiler
Nothing worse when a family doesn't support another family member's divorce. They didn’t even try to hear his side of the story. Also, it's worse when you don't live someone anymore or want a divorce but you stay to help them. That's so unfair. Also, I think she's lying or maybe she's been misdiagnosed.

idk what to think about the show yet. I started watching it bc of Lee Jae wook and the first episode was nice…
I think it's boring too. All the office politics is meh. Then there's the three of them sitting around with Hyewon delivering boring lines and then they just nod or whatever and sit some more in silence before it fades to black and goes to the next scene. Ugh.

Honestly, I thought the actor looked definitely in his mid 40s. Whatever. So how old is the Chairman supposed to be in this drama? With 40 year old son?

Sorry but i disagree. I didn't comment on their acting. It's about the casting. I just think the eldest son looks too old for the part.

it's 10 years
Exactly, KDramas are so dumb for this. Having ppl pine after someone for 10 years. Especially if it's your BF's woman. Like move on already. It would be such a turn off watching them together in a relationship too in front of you. Please do not put Taeho with Hyewon ever.
On The Impossible Heir Mar 8, 2024
I dislike when the casting of the actors are too close in age to be father and son. The eldest son and the chairman don't match. They're only 9 years apart in age IRL.

I agree but it would've been better if Do Han and Ji Han were like cousins to the evil siblings. Seriously, the mom ran off and just left the two evil kids? With Do Han and Ji Han being so nice, I guess the writers want us to assume that the evil siblings just hated their mom or whatnot for leaving. I wonder how old the evil siblings were when she left and mayne the Chairman could've prevented her from seeing her kids.

Thank you for clarifying. That's exactly what I thought.

Can someone please explain the family tree to me? Who are the parents of the "evil" siblings? So the director with the glasses, is he the husband who married the daughter of the CEO and the father of the two elder siblings? So are Do Han and Ji Han also the sons of the daughter who died?

At this point, I think the king will be disappointed when he discovers that Mong Woo is actually a woman 🤣🤣
I agree. It will be like the Coffee Prince drama. He will feel betrayed at first when he finds out the truth because he had to come to terms with his preference of men and admit his feelings for a man. Not to mention, if it's revealed that she's really a woman who disguised as a man, it's a crime in itself, so that presents another problem.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHI love BoA with all my heart but they need to wrap this Yura drama up by the end of Episode 12…
I can't remember if she's even mentioned in the web novel. I was disappointed to see the writers add her as new character because the web novel doesn't include her especially as a love triangle. Her creation is so unnecessary becasue so many other things happen, so she's really not needed.

I agree. He should've kicked Hyun Bo to the curb. Especially knowing that the Minister Of War lied about the attestions from the criminals. Instead, the King sides with them knowing Hyun Bo's shady character and knowing that Mong-Woo had stood up for him when she didn't even know he was the Prince.

I agree with FL's questionable disguise, but that stands as the only aspect that doesn't quite resonate with me…
Yes, you're right, he did a 180 but he didn't try to save them from death, he just left the sentences of the innocent "criminals" up to the the judges. In Ep 4, you clearly see her coming back as Mong-Woo who technically is an escaped criminal who evaded the judges' punishment of 100 floggings and 3 years of hard labour. We'll have to see how Mong-Woo is able to come back to the palace after all that.

"Why do negative comments always come in bunches on MDL, like you all are just parroting what the most recent commenter thinks?" Wtf? Who cares if there are negative comments and why are you blaming me for all those? Why can't I post my own comments? If my views are similar or I agree with another poster's comments, we all should be allowed to post either POSITIVE or NEGATIVE reviews on a Discussion board as the drama airs. Stop thinking that everyone who post on here should only post positive reviews. It's not fair to think everyone should just like this drama because you like it. Just as I'm sure you posted negative reviews on other dramas as well. Should I go complain and reply on your reviews on how you're picking apart a drama I might like? Just be respectful that not everyone is going to like the same show and my OP is more about the reflection of overused tropes. You're also entitled to post your negative feedback about my review but that doesn't mean that everyone should like what you like. This is an OPEN discussion board. I'm watching this because I liked the ML in other dramas so I'm hoping that the storyline gets better.... IMO.
On Captivating the King Feb 1, 2024
I'm so over these dramas where the woman dresses like a man but she obviously looks, acts and talks like a woman. Then the whole getting slashed on her back and falling into rapid waters... of course she survives. This drama took a dark turn with the ML doing a sudden 360 to take the throne and now a time skip of two years where the FL is going to reappear using her same criminal alias? This has already gotten ridiculous.
